I tried Dickeys for the first time on Saturday night. I hadn’t eaten since Friday and I was beyond hungry. By Sunday morning I was so violently ill that I couldn’t do much than get from my bed to the bathroom. Vomiting and explosive diarrhea. Almost 24 hours later the abdominal cramping is horrendous and the smell of meat makes my nauseous. NEVERAGAIN!

I have been here several times. The last 4 times they have been«sold out» of all the foods I wanted. They never have the large baked potatoes by dinner time. When I was there last they also had no baked beans, nor dinner rolls, and the ice cream machine was broken as well. I will not be returning to this location.

I’ve been to several Dickey’s this one is not good — two young kids working which doesn’t bother me but when there is no ice in the soda machine the ice cream was empty and they didn’t seem to care much about what was going on — don’t take all Dickey’s off your list just pass on this one

I work next door and have loved the convenience of this place, and the prices. But I just went there today and not only did their prices go up DRASTICALLY, their chicken was the worst I’ve ever had, dried out so much it was chewy. Sorry but you just lost my business.

I enjoy this place for a quick and relatively cheap BBQ fix. I’m rating on this last visit, as I’m uncertain that I’ll visit again. Not because of the food. The food isn’t the problem, but as another reviewer pointed out was that awesome big jar of pickles that customers can help themselves to. I rather enjoy pickles with BBQ, but the corporate heads decided for whatever reason, to stop it. The employee was kind enough to give me a few from a jar behind the counter, but as far as I know, when those are gone, that’s it. A shame, because while it’s no Q fanatic, I was starting to like this place.

If you’re in the mood for quick, cheap BBQ this is a great place to stop. The food isn’t like Q Fanatic but it’s just as good as Famous Dave’s and really cheap. The sides are all good and the biscuit that comes with the meal is quite tasty too. The meat platters are served dry, but they have 3 different sauces that you can help yourself to. I prefer getting the spicy sauce because although the meats are all good, sometimes it tends to be a little dry. Still well worth it for the prices. They also serve sandwiches and salads(don’t know why anyone would come here for a salad) but they have them. One thing I really dig is that they have a giant jar of killer pickles that you help yourself to for no extra cost and free ice cream. This location is very clean and kid friendly. I’d say a good place to stop if you’re on your way up north.

Dickey’s was bad. Real bad. I got the one-meat plate, with Brisket, and I couldn’t even eat ¼ of it before I felt sick. The menu said it was fresh cut, but the guy just pulled out a bag from a hot box and stuck it on the plate. It was so greasy, blagh. The beans were flavorless, but the mac and cheese and biscuit were at least edible. I’d pass on this one.
