My wife has shopped at ALDI for many years now and they have great prices. However, the one thing that cancels out the low prices is the lousy customer service and surly checkers. They are on a bonus plan for the amount of customers they get through the line per hour and they literally throw your groceries into the cart and there is always damage to the vegetables and other fragile products. My wife will ask them to be careful and they just ignore her and keep going at full speed. She has complained to the manager on duty and complained to the corporate office and get lip service that customer service is important but nothing changes. This writing is for anyone who is thinking about checking them out to know going in that customer service and friendly checkers is almost non-existent and you will be frustrated when you leave because when you get home and many of your groceries will be damaged.
