Davanni’s

Good food but a big staff making a lot of mistakes.
Three of us stopped by on a whim tonight. I hadn’t been to a Davanni’s for at least 10 years.
The idiot behind the counter (the only one who looked like an adult) couldn’t figure out how to give me my receipt. First, he gave me the receipt for someone else. Then he couldn’t figure out how to print mine. Finally, he said he’d bring it to our table with the food.
My wife and daughter’s food came out but my meal was missing. After a while (I was polite and waited) I went up front and saw my poor hoagies, forgotten in the food delivery area. I had one of the kids retrieve them… no longer hot, of course. And of course, I never got my stupid receipt.
I counted a total of 6 people in the back area. There were at least 2 more that I saw earlier. So 8 people can’t serve a meal to 3 people, dining in, without screwing up. It wasn’t busy either.
The food was good though.
I won’t be back. They need to have an adult on duty to keep a lid on things.

My husband and I ordered the Five Meat pizza and it was great. We will be back to try their hoagies. The coke machine was cool, it was fun trying different flavors other than your normal fountain pop choices.

Yes, i LOVE this place! I think it’s the most north Davanni’s along my route up north.
I’ve dined here a couple times, and both times were for «Pick Up». Just yesterday as i was headed TO the Cities, I learned how to time it best — since it only takes 10 min, I call right around the first set of lights in Elk River — and bam, when I arrive my order is fresh. Mmmm.
Okay, so yeah — love their sandwiches and cheesy garlic bread.
I get the half Salami sandwich on grain bread. Super good

I love Davanni’s. They have AWESOME hoagies here. The pizzas are solid here too.
The service is fast here and you seat yourself and wait for your name to be called.
The prices are reasonable too.
