Today was the third time my daughter and I left the store without buying anything. Pushy, agressive sales people hovering over us basically chased us out of women’s clothes, handbags and perfume departments. We went elsewhere to make our purchases. The mall at Pinnacle in Northwest Arkansas is a store to avoid.

I went to Dillard’s for new bras and new shoes. I honestly was not expecting much help but surprisingly a wonderful woman named Kat welcomed me and offered a bra fitting. What an incredible service that I should have taken advantage of sooner! Kat really knew her stuff, she asked the right questions, gave me a TON of useful information and made me feel really comfortable and honestly a bit pampered. Kat not only provided outstanding service, she also was really efficient! I had my family waiting for me and was so happy to work with someone who was conscious of time. She did not try to sell me on things I didn’t need and provided honest opinions. I am recommending her to everyone! Thank you Kat! During the same trip Kat suggested I visit Alayna in shoes when she heard I needed to find some new sandals. I received the same high-level of service. Alayna listened to my needs, made some terrific recommendations and was really efficient. She even offered to order the shoes online when they didn’t have my size in stock on the pair I wanted. I don’t expect much from department stores anymore, but this last trip to Dillard’s was just extraordinary. Thank you for employing such knowledgeable and caring people!

I have shopped at this Dillards since it opened — and we spend a lot of money there. Today, I needed to return a RL Polo shirt that was the wrong size. I bought it for my son for his birthday, and took the tag off to give it to him and it was wrong size. I took it back to this Dillards, and found the correct size. I told the clerk what I was doing and had asked her to hold my return until I found the right size. I fished the tag(taken off as it was a birthday present) out of my pocket, and told her this goes with it. She became blank and said: what do you want to do. I explained, one is a M size and we need the L size that means exchange. She pointed out how the one I was returning was not in LIke-new condition and the TAGWASOFF(as if that soiled it). She accused me that it was very faded(the color was denim like on the inside and pre-faded) and she had to get a manager. The manager wasn’t pleasant, inspected the return as if it had been dipped in something heinous, didn’t apologize for the girl accusing me of fading it out when it’s in their computer that I bought it 2 days before and it still has folded lines in it. So I told the manager how I needed her to be a little nicer about it where she informed me THATSHEWASBEINGNICEABOUTIT, that she was going to do the exchange ! I told her that is HERJOBTODOTHEEXCHANGEANDTOHURRYITUP. This place needs a shake up.

I gave this two stars instead of one because of the selection that provide. If it wasn’t for that it would be a 1 star for sure. Over the holiday, I went in to find a new pair of shoes because I want to pick up a new pair of brown & black wing tips. Seeing how it was the holiday and I was off, I naturally enjoyed my time away from work in a sweat, t-shirt, shoes, & a hat. Not once was I asked for help or if I wanted to try a pair on. I was standing at a table along with another customer. The associate walked up to the shoe display we were both at and direct his«can I help you with anything» to the customer wearing dockers, button up, & penny loafers. The customer said no thank you and the associate walked away. Forgot about the other cusotmer 2 feet away. So I decided on a pair that I liked. Then went else where and purchased them. Just keep in mind Dillards, don’t judge a book by a cover.
