Tried this place for lunch today. I had been previously, but not to eat… just to sit at their swanky bar and drink/pick up ladies. For drinking, this place is A-OK. Lots of beer. On a good night, lots of loose wimmins. If you are having a good night where you are on your game, with a little luck, you can find a 35 year old divorcee’ to take to the parking lot for a BJ. Just buy her a drink and tell her she looks pretty. Always works for me. Today though, I took my wife here for lunch. As soon as we opened the menus, I knew this place was NOT the place to eat. Shitty menu. A little pricey. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich. I ordered the Fosters dog. She could only finish half of her sandwich due to the excessive amount of whatever dressing/paste/shit they spread on that thing. It was way overpowering. My dog was ok. The french fries were all burned. Charred. They tasted like an ash tray. Very similar to kissing a twin peaks skank with an open mouth. We all know thats not even necessary. Those skanks will go to the parking lot with you even without kissing. I’ll be back, just not for food.

If you like to eat and drink in a gymnasium then this is the place for you. Definitely designed for large groups, not so much for couples. Design is hard and cold. Beer selection is unbelievable, would take you a month to try them all. Ordered chicken and waffles — chicken was raw and was sent back. It was replaced but no adjustment to the bill was offered. Not a great first impression. Wife had meat pies and enjoyed them. Too many options out there to give this another try.

This was my first time at the restaurant. The appetizers are good and the food above average. Many beers to choose from, I don’t drink. The problem was the reservations and seating. We had a reservation for 12 at 7pm. The table nxt to us had been there since 3 and that was supp to be our table at 7. The people were still sittin there until after 8, do part of our party had to sit elsewhere. The manager did nothing to alleviate the problem. He didn’t offer any discount, comps or coupons. He only said sorry. I will not go back. It also cost the waitress some of her tables due to mixup. They need get better organized

Arrived about 6:45pm on Saturday and they were pretty busy. We were seated quickly but it took a while before a server came to take our order. Several beers were out of stock but we settled on a chocolate stout which was very good. Because it seemed like service was going slow I tried to note the time. Our order was taken at 7:11pm but we didn’t get our food until almost 8pm. My daughter had the shrimp and grits which came out stone cold. Although the flavor was good, there wasn’t enough on the plate to call a meal and it was way too cold to eat. I had the chicken and waffles. The only thing hot was the chicken. I’d asked for the gravy on the side and it had cooled to the point where it had a skin on the top. Waffle, green beans, biscuit, all cold. Everything had good flavor, though. Server had disappeared again so we couldn’t just send it back. The manager comped my daughters meal which we appreciated. She took it home to heat up so she could eat. I’ll try them again sometime but they definitely have some issues to resolve. The timing in the kitchen is obviously off. It was clear that our plates sat around for a considerable amount of time waiting on the chicken. Not sure why service was so slow. Maybe they need more staff. Our server was nice enough when she was at the table but then we wouldn’t see her for a long, long time.

Came for lunch. Nice beer selection. Appetizer was ready before our beer. 20 min before we had our first beer(it was not busy). Cheese curds were good, not particularly large but enough for two. I ordered chicken and waffles, it was on point. Chicken was crispy and juicy, gravy hit the spot and obviously the waffle and syrup rounded out the sweet and savory combo. Girlfriend got the southerner, also a winner the salty porchetta and the egg was good along with a fresh bun combo was good. Beer prices were pretty reasonable. Overall, good beer and food, service was ok.

Started off with drinks but there were a dozen beers that were out of stock… Ordered a twisted tusk which is a rum drink. Very sweet but potent. Ordered the appetizer pretzel sticks with beer cheese($ 8). Cheese was very good! Had the shrimp and grits($ 18). Very good but not a meal. Grits are excellent but not a lot on the plate. The corn bread muffin was fantastic! Dessert had the Krispy Kreme bread pudding, really good. Service was just ok as it seemed she was absent minded or stretched beyond her capacity. Overall great atmosphere with a lot of drink options.

The flank steak was fantastic! The pineapple cider wasn’t what I expected but a pleasant surprise. Our server was very helpful and polite, but the service was slow.

Wonderful beer selection. Sandwiches were superb! Brussel Sprout appetizer was a meal in itself. Great atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back.

The atmosphere is very cool and is a fun place to visit… But I hate to say it– I really dislike their food menu. I’ve been here 6+ times and have tried something different on their menu every time, and have been disappointed. Every time. It seems they are trying to appeal to an upper-echelon type of crowd, which is fine, but I’ve tried to find something on this menu I enjoy and it can’t be found for me or the half-dozen others I’ve gone with here. The concept of this place is fantastic. I love the location, I love the building, the interior, seating, drinks, wait staff– all a solid 5. This menu, please, DOSOMETHING. I want to come back here, but the menu makes me have to eat elsewhere before I come to have a drink.

Blech. Went there for lunch and the place was deserted! While the décor and atmosphere was extremely hip and tasteful(giant ceiling fan and lit up bar!), the food was super mediocre. The shrimp w/fried green tomatoes looked pretty but there was something about the taste of the shrimp that seemed«off» — several folks in my group commented about how they smelled/tasted bad and we all hoped to avoid food poisoning later(we were fine). Menu was diverse and everything sounded delicious but it was just«eh.» Bartender at our hotel said it was dealing with management and staff issues and was having a hard time getting off the ground. If they can get their food right and attract more people to their weirdly-remote location, they might survive.

Amazing beer selection! The last time I visited, they offered a cayenne-infused beer. It burned so good!

I would give this place 4 stars for food and 1 star for service. For beer I went with the Peach Belgium and they had so many other options that I would like to try. The Peach Belgium was very good and I highly recommend it. I got a mushroom Swiss burger and it was also sooo good. However, I will say the menu is pretty expensive. Aside from the burgers, everything was well over $ 15/plate. The service though was really bad. I went on a Monday night and the restaurant was not busy at all. Primarily it was just so slow. To even get a beer it would take 15 or so minutes. It took an hour to get our food. Our server wasn’t very helpful either, she had no sense of urgency and wasn’t overly friendly. Overall, I may give this place one more chance because I liked the food I had and the beer selection, but if I don’t get a better experience the second time it will be my last.

Food was good. Beer selection is great. Service was ok. Prices were ok. We got our appetizers and main course in one gigantic deluge of food which was unfortunate. Server was slow to retake drink orders even though the place was not very busy. A lot of the other servers were just mulling about. You’d think they would have the service issues fixed by now but it didn’t appear to be the case. Probably will be back during a happy for drinks and an appetizer.

My wife and I ate here again over the weekend. We tried this place a couple of months ago with our kids and were not impressed so we decided to give it another shot. We wasted our time as this restaurant is not worth it. I am a beer fan and I had high hopes for their beer list. The majority of their beers are from AR, MO or OK. I can get those at a lot of places around town. The first beer that I selected I was later told they did not have. I decided on a similar style that the server suggested and it was pretty bad. At that point, I decided to try and flight of four beers only to later be told that they did not have two of them despite them being on the beer list. I gave up and stuck with my water. My wife had her cornbread delivered before the rest of the food. I personally like it when the server provides you with a plate when you get food instead of having to go find them yourselves. The cornbread consisted of two small Easy-Bake Oven style muffins that were hard to pull apart and had zero taste. My wife asked for some butter to try and make them edible which the server returned with an told us that she had to cut the butter slices herself(It looked like it). The butter could not save these little rocks of cornbread. My appetizer was average(biscuits and gravy). There was hardly any gravy on the plate so it was more like biscuits with a hint of gravy. My wife had oysters which were fine and a side of mac and cheese which she said was not good. At one point a manager came over to ask how our meal was. I gave him some honest feedback and then he proceeded to tell us about all of the problems that they were having. Quite frankly, I didn’t care to hear about their issues. This place was mostly empty on a Saturday night. Maybe the large apartment complex opening up right across the street will help them bring more people(Those who do not want to drive to a better restaurant).

Had a burger here that was $ 12 and it was not good. The fries were overcooked as well. Good to hang out in groups here because of the ambiance, but would not come here for the food.

Atmosphere: 3 stars Service: 2 stars Food: 3 stars Price: 2.5 stars Service was SLOW! The server was very friendly, but extremely slow especially for how few people where there. Upscale bar food. Food was good, not great. I had the caprese salad with chicken it was okay. My husband had a BLT with french fries and a side of Mac and cheese. He loved the fries and the macaroni, the sandwich was just okay. Prices were higher than expected. For 2 entrees, a side, and one house brewed root beer our bill was $ 50 without tip. Atmosphere was interesting… rolled silverware and linens implied a more upscale restaurant. Décor was more of a pub or bar. The bar top had a fluorescent blue under light which looked like a club. Not sure they even know what kind of restaurant they want to be? I would come back here for drinks on the patio. I probably will not come back for a meal.

Excellent food, excellent menu. The waiter was friendly and informative. Kids meals were not only inexpensive but still plated beautifully and hearty. I’m hooked! Bummed my first selection on the menu they were out of but that’s okay, I will«get» to come back!

This place is modern, friendly, and alive. It’s is a craft beer mecka with 84 taps, and a great variety of bottles. The staff are on their game, and knowledgeable of all beers and food. This place fills up fast, but there are plenty of seats. It’s only open from 4 – 11 but it’s a good time. I had the fish and chips with mint peas, a great dish, and the tartar sauce is worth it. All the dishes look great, and with an open kitchen you can see them preparing it all. In the spring time, try to sit outside, with fresh air and a gas fire pit, Makes for a great atmosphere. I will be returning here for sure. I just hope they get a lunch menu soon.

Surprised and impressed! Great service — my server genuinely worked hard to make sure I enjoyed myself. Good beer selection — largely Mid-West craft selection. Good IPA’s. Food was better than expected and also better than other«established» local restaurants. Steak was great! Lively & noisy with nice large TV’s. I’m in town often and will definitely come back!

Apparently the menu I tried just over a month ago is no more. I don’t get why they closed for awhile and then changed everything. There is barely anything on the new menu that was on the former menu. And quite frankly, it doesn’t look as good to me. So ya they still have a bunch of beer. But we want a fun pub with a great selection in beer AND food as in the wood fired pizzas and the burger selections, etc. Perhaps they are shooting for an elite crowd. Good luck with that.
