Hard sellers. Will not listen to the customer. Tries the hard sell tactic of bringing out the manager to work a special deal. Went for matress and box springs and they tried to sell us a set that I could have bought a hood used truck for. Salesman then disappeared to «run the numbers» and was gone for a long time. We left.

We did not have a very pleasant experience at the Rogers, AR store. We were told our couch would take 4 – 6(sales person kept saying 4) weeks and it actually took 11 weeks! They made it seem like it wasn’t a big deal to get a custom color(no extra charge) but then when it took longer than six weeks they made it seem like that’s what we get for ordering«custom». It was such a joke. Nobody was apologetic in the LEAST about how long our couch took to be ready. And they wouldn’t even deliver it to us without a ridiculous charge. Impersonal and lacking compassion makes for very bad customer service. I never leave reviews like this but this was a terrible experience. We will never shop with Hanks again and we will be sure to tell all of our friends and family the same.

I would give them zero if possible. We explicitly told this store we were without a couch and that we would only make the purchase if we could receive the new pieces within one month(1 couch, 1 love seat). They agreed, and instead shipped the first of the pieces two months later. Naturally, this piece was damaged and we had to go through shenanigans to schedule a replacement. Another month later,(3 months total now) we receive the second piece. The same night, we all of a sudden have a mouse in our house(never had so much as one in our house before). We called an exterminator who discovered the mouse clawed its way out of the new love seat and had deficated/urinated underneath the cushions of both couches. The sales people are nice up front, and terrible when you actually follow up. They do not care at all about their customers. We will never purchase from here again. I’d recommend Ashley’s. We purchased a bedroom suit and received within two weeks, with no rodents included!

I accompanied my Mom to get a new living room set and she purchased it for about $ 2400 total(4 pieces). We probably could have done better on price if I were a better negotiator. Which is the first ding against Hanks — you shouldn’t have to be a negotiator to buy furniture. Our salesman was very sleezy(he was all charm and smiles until the deal was closed, and then he suddenly became cold and unresponsive — he is the manager and his name starts with K) and promised delivery in one week. That was back in October, and my Mom still hasn’t received 2 of the 4 pieces. If you need the furniture now, don’t believe them if they say it will be delivered from the Little Rock warehouse in the next few days. This is your typical sleezeball establishment.

Hanks furniture The hubby and I had been looking for a nice, wooden king bed for awhile. There’s not a lot of quality options for quality prices in NWA. We had heard great reviews about Hanks, so we stopped in to browse and bought exactly what we wanted plus a Serta I-comfort mattress. As everyone knows beds, mattresses and beds are expensive even if you get a «deal». Anyway… We felt confident with Hanks on our purchase and delivery. Little did we know the delivery was going to be such a pain in the neck. They called to say«everything was in.» Delivered it shortly after but all they had was the bed frame, went back to go get the box spring and mattress, but arrived with just a mattress and stated the box spring had suddenly been back ordered. They put the mattress on its side when leaving to get the box spring which they delivered later that evening(after getting it from little rock). Since the mattress was set on its side all day, the gel ran to one side, creating a lump in the mattress. We called to say we need a replacement bc of the lump. They told us to watch it for a few days and let them know if the lump disappeared. It didn’t. So we called again to get it replaced. We were told delivery for the new mattress had been set. It’s three weeks later and we still have no new mattress. We’ve called endless times asking we’re the mattress is and we always get different answers. We do not understand the customer service and Hanks Furniture. We will never buy from this place again. I wish we could return the damaged mattress and purchase elsewhere.

The prices are so expensive you would expect deluxe customer service but this is most definitely NOT the case here. Not only are the«store policies» ridiculously non-customer friendly as in delivery not including setup but the staff is indifferent. Will NEVER return.

Be careful of their attempts to up-sell and make sure to ask questions about their return/exchange policy prior to purchase. I had a bad experience some time ago where the sales lady kept trying to push me to buy the more expensive mattress even though I repeatedly told her it was too soft and not what I wanted. The one I purchased was still on the higher end of the scale and was also too soft.(The in-store demo seemed to be rather firm but the one I received was was way softer.) When I called after sleeping on it for two days, they refused to help because I didn’t spend the extra $ 60 for their mattress pad. I’ve bought a few mattresses over time and never had a qualification like that to allowing an exchange. The other shops I’ve purchased from always assured of a hassle free exchange if I wasn’t satisfied… not Hank’s I even went to the BBB and all Hank’s was willing to do was send me forms to file a claim with the manufacturer for a defective item. I guess they expected the manufacturer to replace it and wash their hands of the whole thing. MAJOR up-selling, all they care is to get your money and not about customer satisfaction and wanting you to return.

Massive modern showroom of furniture just off I-540 in Rogers. Dining rooms, living rooms, bedrooms, all set up with accents and modeled so that you can see what it will look like in your own home. My daughter had a very specific requirement for the bedroom furniture that I was helping to shop for and it was not met here. But it’s possible that they will have what you want, so give ‘em a try.
