A great place to take a Nature hike Get some fresh air, some light or heavy exercise depending on your mood and fitness level and spend the day just de-whatevering.

Love Hobbs Park and the Visitor’s Center. It is a must do and see! They have amazing programs and historical interactive display. The best and hardest working Park Staff in the entire state! Make a date to visit them soon!

Holy crap! Super fun and flowy mountain biking. Not too much technical. Visit the information center. Very friendly with maps. The entire trail network is worth visiting. We are from California and if there is one place to ride in the area, this would be it.

Mtbing is awesome! I’ve ridden the trails twice now. Nothing technical, lots of flow and quite a bit of climbing. The loop is approximately 20 miles with just a couple miles of back tracking. Watch out for timber rattlers when the weather is warm. And if you’re new to the trail take a map, just in case.

We came here from out of state(Texas) last week and loved it! The trails are really well maintained and clearly marked, and the trailheads have plenty of parking and clearly posted information(there’s even brochures and maps you can take with you, which is really helpful). We did the Sinking Stream, Van Winkle, and Pigeon Roost trails – definitely wish we had time to do more! The scenery is beautiful and coming from Texas I appreciate seeing what the color green looks like for once. The Pigeon Roost Trail was my favorite. It’s about 4 miles in length with enough incline to be challenging and offers some nice views of the like. Both times we hiked, we had the entire trail to ourselves – hard to believe more people aren’t out there enjoying this gem!
