Peach Margarita was pretty dang good. I got the 19 their on the Menu. Steak over with salsa with enchilada and beans and rice. It was okay not that amazing.

Great Mexican place, unless all you know of Mexican is Taco Bell and Tex mex. being a Southern California native, this place comes pretty close to feeling authentic and true to its roots.

Best Mexican Food This Side of The Border … And I was visiting from San Diego, California which is as close to Mexico as you can get so I’m no stranger to the cuisine. The margaritas are strong & the salsa is muy bueno. The rolled beef tacos I ordered were awesome & everyone else in our very large party enjoyed their food as well. So happy to have found great Mexican food away from home!

My wife and myself prefer this Mexican restaurant to all the others locally. Good food, fun cheery ambience and good prices. The bar is OK as well.

This place disgusts me. Swatting at the flies inside makes eating a nearly impossible task– not that the food is all that interesting to eat. Can’t believe I’ve given them three chances. Never again.

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in NWA. Food and service are great. Their Margaritas are awesome have it your way. The good thing here is you ask they will make it if they can. The seafood dishes my wife loves. I like variety and have tried most things on the menu. Enjoy and do not be scared to ask for it different if that is the way you want. They are happy to oblige.

We used to come here more so than not. And we hadn’t been for a long while so we thought we would go. Well it was horrible. Nothing tastes the same. I got cheese enchiladas and it over filled onions(which I did not ask for in them — only cheese) and about a teaspoon on cheese if that. The queso was disgusting and had no flavor at all. The mild salsa tasted and looked like it was just tomato baste or something. The hot salsa was the only thing that had flavor. So the only thing that was good was the hot salsa and Ya… That’s it. The service wasn’t that great either! And it wasn’t even busy! Never wasting my money there again. Very disappointed.

I love this place! The food is always great. Sometimes service at traditional Mexican joints can be slow and not that great, it’s a cultural thing, but the service here is usually on point. Can’t go wrong with fajitas at most places, but I really love theirs! The drink prices aren’t bad either. The lunch menu on Sundays is the best way to work off a good hangover! The only negative is the cleanliness. The place could use a slight remodel, and a good deep cleaning.

A few of us were coming back from Kansas City and decided to stop in Rogers to eat lunch. We wanted to eat at Rolando’s; however, they were closed. We decided to walk across the street and try Las Palmas for the first time. As we walked in, my party and I loved the ambiance! It reminded me of Mexican restaurants from Los Angeles and Phoenix. Who doesn’t love restaurants playing Chente and baladas?! Unfortunately, it went down hill from there. A smell that I can’t put my finger on was yoked with the ambiance. The smell lingered throughout our meal. Our party(three people) ordered the carne asada and the bandera enchiladas. Both dishes were absolutely horrible. The carne asada was rubbery and lacked seasoning not to mention the wrong cut of meat for carne asada! In regard to the enchiladas, I guess I forgot that the Mexican flag was red, white, & brown. It tasted like the enchiladas were nuked in the microwave. In fact, some of the enchilada’s cheese was still uncooked though the outside was hot. All in all, I strongly suggest staying away from this place. There are much better places in NWA for Mexican food.

Great food at a great price! My coworker took me here for lunch and I ordered the lunch special which ended up being huge! She did a combo plate and we were both satisfied with our meals. Also the white queso we ordered for appetizers was a yummy addition to the chips and salsa they provide. I enjoyed the food so much I took my brother back there for dinner over the weekend!

We were craving Mexican food and decided to try out Las Palmas since it was reasonably close to our hotel. Nothing special about this place — decent atmosphere, ok service and passable food. If this is the best Mexican food in the area, we are in trouble! I’ll keep frequenting my favorite, authentic places in Phoenix.

Decent. Overwhelming smell of bathroom cleaner products as we walked in the door. Waiter screwed up drink order. My flautas were so hot they burned me. Ground beef not steak strips. Great ambiance!

The food was good and served relatively fast. However the waitresses took out 3 $ from our debit card. Won’t be back.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in NWA. Their food is always great and the service is wonderful. Their veggie fajitas are always great, and their salsa and queso are the best in town.

I almost wonder if I’m eating at the same place as these other reviewers. Seems as everyone wants to put it in a Tex-Mex box. Who cares what you call it if it’s good. Los Palmas serves the best Mexican food in Arkansas. This is a regular haunt for us and every dish we’ve tried is great but their fajitas are just off the charts. Service is always great and they have a nice bar for those that wish. Try a #21 if you feel like testing your taste buds.

In a word, «awful». The food is just cheap microwaved TexMex swill. I really find it hard to believe that people eat here more than once. Chips were stale, food was over processed and over microwaved, margaritas weren’t drinkable. Really, really bad. I’m shocked at the positive reviews.

I give up. This place has gone steadily downhill. The last time I went in I sent back my plate and asked for it to be heated until HOT. As in cheese totally melted, blow on it to cool, ‘watch the plate’. HOT. I thought that’s what Mexican restaurants served. Today I ordered a half order of chicken nachos — they were ok — and a single cheese enchilada ala carte. It was pathetic. The tortilla was still oily, but the cheese wasn’t melted. And there was about a total of a tablespoon of brown, tasteless chili con carne over the top. Awful. How interested was the restaurant in my experience? I ate ONE bite out of the middle and decided it wasn’t really even worth eating(pic attached). The waitress asked if I was done and took the plate when I indicated I was. She didn’t ask HOW it was. The cashier did, but before I could even answer, she gave me my total and started speaking to a friend. Sorry to anyone my previous review gave hope to. It’s gone from ok-decent for most things to ‘I’ll just stop at Taco Bell instead’. Didn’t mean to mislead you.

Las Palmas is among the best in Northwest Arkansas Mexican cuisine. The quality and value are a big hit for the Rogers downtown area. My favorite is the #20 Tacos Al Carbon(steak tacos). The #20 is a mix of fajita spicy flavor and burrito tastiness. The service is consistent and the beer is cold! Always a friendly atmosphere which sometimes includes a live solo guitarist/singer. A sure bet to please locals and visitors looking for good Mexican food.

Of the hundreds of thousands of Mexican restaurants in the NWA area, Las Palmas is by far my favorite. The prices are right and the service is friendly and speedy. The food taste and quality is above standard compared to Acambaro(#1 thru #98,000) and Maria’s(#1 thru #300,000) and astronomically better than Las Fajitas, who I am convinced runs down to Wal-Mart mart at about 9 a.m. and buys some El Paso brand pre-packaged frozen food to heat up in the microwave before the lunch rush. Back to our story… Las Palmas offers a cozy atmosphere and it can be loud at dinner, especially when the Mariachi band kicks in. I typically order the carne asada tacos for my meal and wash it down with a 44 ounce big gulp draft beer served in a mug that looks like an elephant’s foot. The salsas are fantastic and the portions are perfect. Just writing the review has me jonesing for a trip to downtown Rogers. Pros: inexpensive, quick, wide variety, great atmosphere Cons: loud music
