Rode down from STL for the BBB Rally in 2014 and ended up trading my 2008 Dyna-Glide in for a 2012 Ultra-Glide. Talk about a busy place that weekend. I think I was the 79th person to buy a bike from them that weekend and they still had another day to go. All in all it was painless except for the long wait to get back out on the road. With that many people buying bikes at once it was to be expected. Had the Ultra for a couple years now and haven’t had a lick of trouble with it. Even found some extras on the bike(engine bay, wheel lights that I found the switch to while upgrading the horn a few months later and a few other things) that they didn’t catch at the dealer or the price would have been quite a bit higher. Went there a few times for more accessories and the prices seemed to be the same as they would at any other HD dealer. They have quite the selection of used bikes in the satellite building.

I recently required service for my Buell and visited this dealer for kicks. Based on my experience with most motorcycle service departments, I expected a long wait, then be given a high estimate and offered an appointment a week or two out. To my surprise, Pig Trail Harley serviced my bike on the spot(as a walk-in), with minimal wait and at a fair cost. For this experience alone, I rate this establishment five stars. We have returned several time since. I don’t ride Harley’s(save the Buell!) but enjoy browsing the great bike selection here. Even the pre-owned section is robust and impressive! The clothing and accessories here make it worth the stop, even if you don’t ride. Throughout the year, this place offers food and entertainment, primarily on Saturdays. For example, we stopped in a couple of Saturdays back(in January ’16) and enjoyed a free lunch of sub sandwiches and soup. This place is not«cheap», it is Harley Davidson, and priced accordingly. That said, we find pricing and selection to be more than acceptable. My only critique for Pig Trail might be the commission based sales approach. I’m not a fan of that model, but in fairness, most bike shops use commissioned sales reps. Pig Trail offers some great riding opportunities such as group rides and extensive ride maps for NW Arkansas. We live in the area but found some great rides we were not familiar with using some of the maps. This shop periodically hosts great demo-ride events, a must if you are shopping for a bike. They also offer a rider training program which I highly recommend for all new riders.

I didn’t have a bad purchase experience. I do have some issues with the sales side of things. I started the class offered by Pigtail HD or(is it pig-trail…)“anyways; I did this to gain experience on a motorcycle and learn the basics. The course was awesome, I had a great time and learned quite a bit. The instructors were incredibly intuitive and knowledgeable. As I passed this course couldn’t help myself so I bought a bike. I mentioned while buying the 2015, HD Sportster 1200 Custom, that I may need saddle bags and a windshield. I was excited so I over looked these features before taking off(one does what one must). They should have mentioned how June bugs feel when they throat punch() you at highway speeds+some! And a wind shield helps protect against this shit! Anyways hope you guys(and gals) have a good experience but be wary of sales staff… Ps… When you see how much they charge for a product install its mind blowing!

Great dealership! Staff could be a little less«retail sales» clingy, though. I think we were approached by, literally, six different people asking if we need help picking out t-shirts. Got it covered, thanks. ;) That written this is a beautiful store. They have a great selection of everything! And the bikes on the showroom floor are impressive. Not as great as OURBIKE ;) but impressive all the same. Unfortunately, they don’t offer a military discount like many of the Harley dealers do. Minus ½ a star for the stage 5 clingers and minus ½ a star for no military discount. Still, a thumbs up. If you’re looking for something Harley themed, it’s likely you’ll find it here.
