These guys don’t know anything about computers (one guy didn’t even know what a Terminal was). One guy was very rude and started ignoring me when I asked what I actually paid for.
These guys charged me $ 410 for simply shipping my Macbook to Apple Care. They literally did no service other than to ship my laptop. The Apple Care would have charged me $ 199 for the same service if I sent it myself, but it was already late. Additionally, they did not return my SSD that I could have repaired or sold.
In conclusion, these guys are incompetent and are ripoff.

My iPhone 5s stopped working today. I went to the AT&T store where I had bought the phone and they told me they could not help me and to take it to the Mac store in Rogers. It was late about 8pm before I could get there — the store was super busy. When it was my turn I was so upset from my day the gentleman took time to listen and back up my phone and then proceeded to do everything he could to fix it. Unfortunately it was toast — they helped me look up my account with AT&T and discovered I was due for an upgrade — they closed at 9pm but stayed and helped set me up with an new phone, transferred my data and helped me learn the new phone before I left around 10:15. They stayed an hour and fifteen minutes past closing and were so patient and generous — I am super impressed by the customer service here — these guys know their stuff, don’t make you feel stupid and generous with their time — THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP — I will be back and recommend anyone who needs your service to you!!!

I code, create websites, repair PCs and do some work on Macs and have for many years. As a woman in IT I expect to be treated like an idiot by the guys in computer shops. I don’t let it go on for long, but it has been unavoidable. This *did not* happen at Simply Mac. I was kept up to date on every step of the repair (recalled logic board) and spoken with politely and knowledgeably at every turn. This was an entirely exceptional experience.

The next best thing to an Apple Store! Seriously, they handle Apple warranties and repairs. They’ve got great Apple accessories and third party products. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. I’d rather get my Apple products here than any other place.

My macbook air refused to start so naturally being in college and having assignments due I freaked out, took my laptop in on Thursday at 7pm, and they called me the next day at 12 to tell me it was ready, excellent service, as well as quick.
