Spa Botanica

One of my favorite places. The relaxation lounge is amazing right before your service. There are steam rooms in the bathroom and not to mention the spa is so relaxing. Everyone who works there is fantastic. I love the Farm House fresh products and they even have some for you to try in the restroom.

Was a great massage… for the most part. Came here with my wife for a couples massage for our 5^th anniversary, and the place was fantastic except for one thing… the guy that did my massage needs to trim his damn nails.
Everything else was fantastic, but there was a point when the massage was more painful then relaxing… which ruined the experience for me.

I came here for a massage a little over a week ago and it was great.
LOCATION/​PARKING:
This spa is located at the Embassy Suites. The spa has their own entrance that is to the right of the normal, grander entrance.
There is a large parking lot for the hotel. However, right in front of the spa there are a few reserved parking spots for Spa Botanica.
AMENITIES:
The spa has a gift shop by the checkin/​cashier. When you walk through the doors, you see a salon on your right. For the spa part, they have a awesome lounge area: dimmed light, comfortable lounge chairs, soothing water fountain, teas, fruit infused water, hot chocolate, food (there was a fruit bowl when I was there), magazines, etc. The locker room has a changing area, bathroom with toiletries, a shower area, and steam room. In the locker room area they have some oils/​lotions for your body and a hair dryer.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Overall, the customer service was good. My massage therapist was very nice. I scheduled my massage as late as possible on a weekday, which was 6pm. They spa closes at 8pm, so I had a hour after my massage to enjoy the spa facility. I was in the lounge area and someone kept looking around the corner at me. I didn’t really care, but it did make me feel like I was suppose to get going and get out, even though it was only around 7:15pm. No one said anything and even one woman told me to take my time, so maybe the person was just checking on me. I thoroughly enjoyed the lounge area.
Great place, I would definitely come back again!

My review is of the locker room/​sauna only. I have been here twice after receiving massages to use the sauna to sweat out some toxins. Both times, female staff barged in. The first time, I was in the sauna and a staff member paid no attention to the rob hanging by the sauna that was clearing on and in use and looked thru door to see if someone was in it. Yes! I was! And naked! The second time a female staff member came in 3 times! Stealing my robe once. While cleanliness is important, there is no reason for female staff to check the men’s sauna every 15 minutes. Once every 2 hours is plenty! And hire some male staff to do it. I felt very uncomfortable using a men’s locker room where female staff enter multiple times within an hour. Wasn’t really able to relax.

This is my go to spot for a good haircut. Try to get Taylor if you can. She does a great job and is a real nice person. $ 24 for a cut and shampoo for men.

Great spa. So convenient to have it right at the hotel. Loved being able to go downstairs to the lobby have a nice breakfast and walk to the spa. The service was wonderful and they used excellent products for their services. A little bit pricey but worth it.

I was looking for a place that does Brazilian waxes and this was one of the highest rated places that appeared on my search. I called to make an appointment and told them that it was my first time getting said service done. Lindsey was extremely helpful. She gave me valuable tips and suggested two different ladies that would be the best fit.
I’m a bit of a novice to luxury, so the atmosphere really blew me away. The waiting area was dimly lit with a fountain, soft music, comfy chairs and a small area with snacks and tea. Definitely easy to relax in that environment. :)
Heather, the lady that did my waxing, was fabulous. She was sweet, patient, easy to talk to and thorough.
Their price for a Brazilian is $ 70 (before optional gratuity), which is chump change compared to some of the prices I saw for other spas. Definitely worth every penny.
Definitely coming back. The entire experience was wonderful.
TL;DR: Great prices, awesome staff, clean facilities, relaxing environment, and no high pressure sales. :)

Prices are affordable and they email promotions every so often. I definitely take advantage of the promos when I can. Check in is always easy and the front desk assistant is normally well prepared for my arrival. Everyone at this spa is very friendly. I haven’t had a bad/​rude experience here yet!
When you check in they show you to the locker room where you will find your assigned locker, comfy robe and slippers. It smells like armpits in this room, but I believe it’s the bamboo floors. Anyway… the snack area is just outside the locker room with the MOST AMAZING TEAS. I seriously love their teas! Snacks include nuts, various seeds and fruit.
The waiting area is very relaxing with a soothing waterfall. The masseuse greats you at the appropriate time and leads you to the massage room. Every room is clean with perfect dimmed lighting. I’ve had a variety of massage therapists from Spa Botanica… there are some betters than others, but none of them are terrible. Afterwards you are welcome to stay and enjoy the steam shower or hang out in the waiting area for more relaxation. I like how they don’t push you out after your appointment.
I highly recommend Spa Botanica! Plus, the Spa Director, Lauren, is so lovely!

Friendly staff. Decent prices. Nice relaxation area while you wait. Self service water, tea, and snacks. No real private places to dress/​undress though.

Ordered a spa getaway for my wife and the customer service I received was fantastic. There was no high pressure up selling and I was able to pick and choose a variety of options. They put together a great envelope with a key card and listed amenities and were very flexible in scheduling.

Please read my previous review of Spa Botanica to hear the positive that have brought me back to this place numerous times up until this point. I am now Lowering my review stars to 3 and am so tempted to only give them 2 stars after the last two visits.
1. Both of my last 2 visits the locker rooms have been disturbingly gross. Not the bathroom but the locker room/​Showers/​Steam Room/“Relaxation Lounge”. (Each of the following have occurred on each visit)
In the Steam room there have been multiple used sweated on towels strewn around the sitting areas. I understand that others use the steam room, but each time it was cold and no other men were in the building. This means that there has been NO attempt to clean or even appear to have cleaned the area where nude bodies sit between customers.
There are 2 showers in the men’s locker room. Each visit, both showers had previously been used prior to me using them and again, no other men in the area. I know that they had been used because of the used wash cloths on the floor or the presence of used body towels or trash. What kills me about this is the towel pyramids that look so beautiful are complete everywhere you look, so, someone replaced the towels without cleaning up anything.
The Relaxation Lounge. This place has been anything but the last couple of visits. Again the lack of cleanliness is what stands out the most. Trash everywhere, used plates, cups, and room service dishes all over the place.
Both of the last two visits they also either had my name wrong or time of the spa wrong. This is not a big deal to me, but it continues to show that there are some fundamental problems here.
Every time I’ve been here over the years you can hear employees complaining about their day or similar conversations as they walk up and down the hall in the «whisper area». An area that they do not whisper in.
Last complaint is really touching on all of this by saying that there are employees all over this place, so it makes no sense that no one seems to clean.
There are TONS of Spas in NWA, so I hope that they can take this review and make some changes. I will be trying out other places, so keep posted to me, and I’ll review them as I go.\
Okay, I changed it to 2 stars after reliving the disgust that I felt while I was there.

Made reservation and got deep tissue massage by Melinda I believe. It was one of the best massages I’ve had. Highly recommended!

I followed my hair stylist here and love it. Sara’s booth is in the back and quiet without the head splitting babble of multiple stylists and clients. Sara is great about working you in last minute, does a great job on color and follows my suggestions although she often suggests a fresh twist I hadn’t thought of.
I have also gotten a gel manicure here and loved it as well as using the spray tanning service. My «tan» lasted all the way through my vacation.

My first visit to Spa Botanica located adjacent to the Embassy Suites Hotel. I was impressed. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. My friends and I booked services the week before and they worked with us to ensure we could all have our treatments on a relative similar schedule. We were taken first to the the locker rooms which were very clean. We each got our own locker, fresh robe and slippers to put on. All the amenities were available-​down to toothbrush and deodorant. There were showers and a steam room. There was a separate changing room for the modest. We were taken to the waiting area which was a dimply lit room full of cushioned chaise sofa loungers. There was a large tiled water feature and the flat screens on the wall was of the ocean and waves crashing on the beach. We had a fruit bar and water to drink. You are welcome to lounge before and after any service.
My masseuse was great. The room was comfortable. Great soothing music and light. I had the hot stone massage which was divine.
The only downside is the cost. They are very pricy and you could probably get just as good of massage and other services at another place locally. What you pay for is the entire experience.
