Came to steak and shake on 1⁄1 at about 7pm and the service was horrible. It took over 10 minutes for someone to seat us then took about 5 minutes for someone to take our order. The food wasn’t that great either. My food was cold by the time I got it. This was my first time eating here and it will be my last.

I loved my service, of course I went through the drive thru and ordered. the young lady was super sweet and caring. She cared for me like I was family an friends. She even made my burger to make sure it was made correct. Also made our two eggnog shakes. Very beautiful appearance as well. That all counts when your representing a company. She said she had a young man named Brandon cook my burgers that way I’m satisfied, I loved my burgers. Kudos to this young lady oceana. Beautiful name and just amazing service. Should have tipped her. I was more satisfied coming through drive thru then dining in. I would have to say that I’ve seen drive thru pretty busy an now I know why. Tell oceana to keep up the good work an it’ll all pay off eventually.(: and Brandon that’s on grill, keep up the good tasty work. Better service I’ve had at steak n shake in a long time. Thanks a lot

Food was fantastic esp for the price! The only negative I have to say is they seriously need to hire more staff bc service was soooo slow and they only had like 2 ppl working. Will def be back though!

I love this place. Yep it’s a chain but I love that it’s a sit down restaurant with drive thru prices. I have alway had great service here. It’s a great place to bring kids and not worry about getting the stink eye from someone. My kiddo is great in restaurants but sometimes people just worry with anticipation. You know? Anywho, good burgers, okay fries, better onion rings, amazing shakes. Cheap. That’s the best part. Don’t come after six on a Friday and think it won’t be busy. It IS!

I’ve been very disappointed with this location lately. I have been here 10+ times and the last 3 have not been pleasant. I have had to get up with my cups and walk over to the servers station to ask for a refill because we waited over 5 minutes for our server to acknowledge us. My most recent visit was today and I’m not sure if I’ll plan to come back. My server was very short with us, seemed like she had no sense of customer service. We asked for our shake in a to go cup and received it in a regular glass. We sat and watched our food sit in the window for several minutes while our server was in the back. We also found 1 hair on one of the plates. I came at an off time(around 3pm) so there were not many customers and 4 servers on staff. I was disappointed to have such slow service and poor attitudes from staff. The food was fine all around, we ordered 3 meals.

I’ve given this location a few tries and every time i have the same issue. I don’t know who’s running this Steak N Shake but they need to take a long look at their staff and figure out where the weak point it on the line. I always do drive thru and it’s always taken at least 15 minutes to get my food. I pulled in today at 1, straight to the menu board and placed my order. I pulled around the corner and there was one car in front of me getting their food, I left at 1:28… This is supposed to be fast food, if I wanted to wait that long there’s tons of places I could have visited. I don’t think I’ll be visiting this location any more.

Poor customer service. Too bad, as I love their burgers. Freddy’s is now my go to…

I love Steak and Shake. I think it’s the nostalgia more than the food but still. We walked in at 6:05 and sat down right away. By 6;30 it was full. The steak burger is pretty good. Seems like real meat as opposed to other fast food. And the fries are those yummy shoestring salty kind. I could eat these and a shake and be really satisfied! No ice cream for us tonight. We have a gift card for chick fil a!

I have been here a couple times and always have to wait at least 20 minutes just to get a seat. The wait wouldn’t be so bad if you couldn’t see the empty takes and how slowly they are able to turn them over. We keep coming back because my kids love the shakes and on the weekend kids eat free. Today our burgers were really well done almost burnt… all 5 burger dishes! While the shakes are good I always struggle to understand why it takes 10 – 15 minutes to make a couple shakes. If you want shakes, order them early, like halfway through your meal. When done well, the food is a slight step up from fast food but the slow service makes it a very challenging place to recommend, especially when you go with kids who don’t always have the patience to wait. If you don’t mind waiting or going during off hours it’s better than McDonald’s but not by much.

We live less than two miles from this store so we are here often. Great management with pretty solid wait staff and kitchen. Been here on good days and bad. Seems like fairly consistently Sundays, both lunch and dinner, are a mistake. I can’t tell if that’s when they’re training in the kitchen or what but the quality is usually not as high. Breakfast is consistently a win here. Plus, for some reason, nobody comes here for breakfast. It’s always a ghost town but with personal service and excellent taste. I hate going anywhere else for breakfast now because it’s twice the price.

Good service despite coming in at 9:50(closes @ 10). Came for the shakes. Like the food too, just not the focus of this trip. Pretty standard across the board. Seen one seen ‘em all.

This place is my kryptonite. I know I shouldn’t — But I love it. What’s not to love? Little hamburgers smashed and fried until the edges are crispy… shoestring fries… thick, rich, chili, and awesome milk shakes? Nirvana for 40 year old men.

I had almost forgotten how good a burger and shake could be. Most places just serve an ice cream like substance in a cup but Steak ‘n Shake still makes a real shake like the old days. The burgers are all tasty and the hot dog will stand up against any competition. The new Royale burger has bacon and egg added and is under five bucks with fries. It’s the best idea yet. Probably the cleanest burger place in town and definitely the most value for your money. Good, fast service, nice décor and great music is a bonus.

Good steak and cheese burger and I tend to like the skinny fries, though they’re a bit too salty. Good, fast service. Music inside tends to be 50’s and early 60’s. They have a breakfast menu and they’re open 24 hours. This location has a drive-through as well.

This is one of our favorite places to eat. It’s hard to beat a double cheeseburger, fries and a drink for less than $ 5. The burgers are good and shoestring fries are a favorite with the kids. It is a chain, but it’s still good eats.

Steak N Shake is now open in Rogers near the Promenade mall. The food is no different than any other Steak N Shake I have visited. A pretty good steakburger, skinny string fries and hand dipped milk shakes which I love because they are just mixed enough to still leave lumps of ice cream small enough to suck up the straw. I would pass on cheese fries as it is nothing more than nacho cheese you get at any ballgame. Yuck. The chili is full of beans and what appeared to be chunks of steakburger. Again, not my favorite. Stick to the meal deal which is a double steakburger, 2 sides and a shake for $ 7.99. Because this one just opened, they may just be on their game but the service was great. I am sure I will be back. When it comes to a good burger, my fav is still Ron’s
