Best dental office in Sonoma county. They fit me in for emergency appointments TWICE and were incredibly polite about it. Don’t waste your time or your money anywhere else. Both Drs. Reyda and Romero really care about their patients

Stay away! They will take your money and run!!! I went in to Dr. Romero’s office to have my teeth cleaned about six months ago. I filled out all the paper work and in the paper work I informed the Dentist that I had both my hips replaced and I was on VERY strong antibiotics due to an infection. The Dr. came in and talked to me and decided to do the cleaning. About ½ way through the cleaning he informed me I need to come back to finish the cleaning due to my infection and the antibiotic I was on is not recognized by the ADA. He also told me I needed a crown but I told him I would think about doing that (He wanted to charge me more than double what the copay should be). On the way out I spoke with Lynn and told her I would call after things were stable and I asked her to call my wife so she could get her teeth cleaned. I also told her I was NOT going to get the crown done at this time. Well about a week later Lynn called me and informed me she got the approval for the crown. I was kind of surprised because I told her I did not want to do it (I think she saw $$$ and did not hear me!). Well after another week I called Lynn and informed her my infection was better and I was on the Dr. told me was okay. She told me she would talk to the Dr. and they would call me back. GUESS WHAT??? She NEVER called back (I guess there were no signs of $$$$.)!!! Six months have passed and today I got a call from his office asking me to come in for another cleaning. I informed the lady calling of what happened and she told me Dr. Romero would call me. I told her it was not necessary but about one hour later he called. After telling him what happened I was surprised by his reply. «Well I understand what happened I will talk to Lynn and this happens and it is okay if you never come back.» WTF! That kinda upset me so I called back and he happened to answer the phone and I told him I wanted to be refunded ½ my cleaning or finish the work. He then told me «you have a chip on your shoulder and I am not doing anything for you and you can call you insurance I am not doing anything for you!». IS THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! My advice… STAY AWAY!!!

BEWARE! This place is a scam! The office lady Lyn is trying to bill my husband because she apparently received the wrong information from delta dental PPO. Lyn the office manager, (short for she never went to college and sits on her fat ass all day) is so behind in the times that she does not use internet to get her patients information. She mailed us a letter stating that she spoke to Delta Dental over the phone regarding my husbands benefits and they gave her the wrong information. How about getting an email or a fax of something in writing so you can see the benefits? But no, this lady depends on good old fashioned word of mouth. So now since they are stuck with an outstanding balance we have to pay for it. However how come they didn’t let us know when we were waiting two hours listening to Dr. Romero chat away on the phone about his ski weekend get a way. Lyn called me today and I told her we were not going to pay. Let her move forward with this and I will take her and Dr. Romero to court. Did I mention that my family is a bunch of nasty successful lawyers, and they are good friends with plenty of UCSF dentist who are so much better than these phonies? Oh and by the way, one of the hygienist must smoke because her hands through her gloves smelled of cigarettes and it was so nasty. I feel sorry for the young dentist who works there because he is going to be forever associated with this office and the scams they pull on patients.
