GrapeVine Music

Rod was our DJ for our wedding, on May 20^th in Healdsburg. He was wonderful, professional, fun, and easy to work with. He met all our expectations and beyond. We literally danced the entire time he played. I highly recommend Grapevine Music!!! Thank you, Rod.

i first have to say that rod was AMAZING. he was so professional, incredibly easy to work with, so nice, and listened to us when we said what we wanted. the show was not about him, he made it about us and played the music we wanted and knew exactly when to play it. he had great ideas for music selections, but didn’t get offended if we turned down his ideas. great music was a must for me for the reception, he did not let me down, or the guests! he had the dance floor going all night long. my husband and i love country music, and he incorporated fun country songs perfectly without playing too much for the guests who don’t prefer it. he started out with awesome music to get all ages, young and old on the dance floor to get the party started and finished off the night with more modern pop music for the younger crowd that continued to dance the night away, myself included! and he offers a Photo Booth. it was a hit! everyone loved it and now we have a nice photo album that he gave us with all of the photo strips and sweet messages from out guests. besides the awesome service, he is insanely affordable. i would definitely recommend rod at grapevine. we are so happy we went with him, he made our night the perfect party to celebrate us!

Rod was great at our wedding in May 2014. He customized our playlist based on our favorite songs and bands, he adjusted as needed for a delayed start to the wedding and he was great about taking requests from our friends and family. He also did a wonderful job helping us customize our live music for our ceremony. We wanted to have some nontraditional pieces played for our processional and recessional and he helped coordinate so that the string group could have arrangements for these pieces. It was all around a great day. Rod was also super accommodating and came to us — we lived about an hour south of SF at the time of wedding planning so we weren’t right around the corner from him– for a planning meeting and to pick up payment which was super helpful for us (Especially in the week before the wedding when things got hectic with family arriving from all over the country). I would absolutely recommend GrapeVine Music. We had such a great experience with them in all aspects — planning, DJ, live music, and photobooth. :)

Rod with Grapevine DJ’ed my wedding this past fall in Sebastopol at Vine Hill House. The music was hands-​down the most important pat of my wedding. I warned Rod up front and he was nothing but patient, knowledgeable and helpful. He let me have as much or as little control as I wanted. I wanted a lot of control up front and we set up several calls to go over things. During those calls he provided tips and reminders that were very useful to me in planning the wedding and my music selections.
The day-​of (as will happen) we were running a bit behind but Rod never skipped a beat. He jumped and rearranged the music to make it fit within the time allowed. It was perfect.
My wedding was an absolute dream and Rod was a joy to work with. If you are a true music-​lover and want someone who will go the extra mile for you, providing quality sound and service, I highly recommend Grapevine Music.

Rod KILLED it. My wedding was fantastic, I think I danced for three hours straight– he totally read the crowd, he dealt with my slightly (ok, VERY) boozy friends, he coordinated the string music on the way down the aisle, I mean he just rocked it. I got married at Madrona Manor which kind of has a weird set up for the dancing and I was nervous about where he was going to set up an if there was enough room and all that and he went before the wedding to check it out. He was responsive, prompt, reasonably priced, super great and easy to work with. I can’t say enough good things, the DJ was the main thing my fiancée was in charge of and I wasn’t sure I trusted him to get the job done (I know, control… need to release…) but we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. He even had tips on how to keep people dancing (basically the bride isn’t allowed to leave the dance floor – fine by me). Rod Green is a true professional and he made our wedding day amazing. Our primary goal was to have a classy DJ; someone that wouldn’t monopolize time and would keep the party rolling. Rod did all this and more. He has an easy personality, a great voice and played music that kept our guests dancing all evening! He met with me in person and asked key questions that helped shape the schedule of the event! I could not be happier with having worked with Rod/​Grape Vine Music!
