It’s a pity this place has received some bad reviews because my experience there yesterday was Stellar! My sales person was Bob and he was amazing! His knowledge of the details of various appliances was so incredibly helpful. He has been in the biz for ages and also has used so many of his products that he easily pointed out the pros and cons of various products. He also wasn’t pushing me at all towards higher end products and such. I have to buy all new appliances for a kitchen so there were so many choices to make — he really helped me narrow down what I want and why. And the other great thing was — I came home and searched prices online — and all of his prices were less than I could get anywhere else! I am going to love doing business with these people! Thanks BOB!!!

No way on this place, as it seems to be a rebranding of the old Standards of Excellence. Same building, same people. I purchased a Dacor floor model rangetop in 2014 that I was told was last years model and would be completely covered by the 3 year Dacor Warranty. I called Dacor for service this morning and was told that this was a 2007 model and therefore had no warranty. We indeed did get a discounted price for buying a floor model, but I never would have purchased an 8 year old model with no warranty regardless of price. In a word, stay away from this place, I definitely know that I am not going to use them for new refrigerator and new dishwasher that I am in the market for.

Monark or standard of Excellence and one other name previous to that… Well I think we learned why they keep changing names. Zero customer service. We purchased well over $ 30 k of appliances, several were delivered in damaged condition. It took us several weeks to get any resolution on this. Instead of offering to replace the items– one of which had very clearly been previously installed and damaged– we had to run in circles to get various repair people out. They had to do initial inspection, then order parts or new unit, then return. We still, a month later have a non-functional kitchen. Steer clear!

Woohoo! I just received my new Fisher Paykel refrigerator from Monark Premium Appliance Co. This place is the BOMB! I worked with Brian Lima who not only got me exactly what I needed, but was able to get it for me from their Clearance Center in Hayward and have it delivered and installed here in Santa Rosa. Jose and David delivered and installed it yesterday and did a fantastic job. All were very pleasant to work with and extremely professional. Thank you Monark!

Working with Bob Pachorek was exactly what we needed in a long list of decision making. He made our visit to the showroom efficient, informative and easy to make decisions. His years of experience and expertise made the options very clear based on performance and value. More importantly, now that the appliances are installed we are even more excited about their performance. During construction and installation there were two items held up at the factory and were going to throw the timing off on our move in date. Bob went to bat for us and saved the day. I highly recommend Monark and especially Bob Pachorek.
