This places drivers are terrible. They block intersections and the road. When I asked them to move the guy said he wasn’t scared of the cops. Good for him now learn to drive. You can’t park in the middle of the road and expect people to not be upset with you. There was no way to see around his truck and they didn’t have enough respect for others to have someone to check around their truck for oncoming traffic and instead expected people to make blind turns around their truck and into an intersection.

I really like this place. It is perhaps the last place I can find a small treasure for cents. I really like all the staff. This place is huge! The store is a big warehouse that holds aisles of clothes and they have mountains of it in the back. I’ve bought several precious items from this place. They used to have a way bigger book selection which they’ve recently shrunk down but it’s still a good selection. The knick knacks are quirky.

Employees are rude and not helpful. Will not allow you to look at mattress prior to purchases. They insist that they are all the same! Yeah… right! I know this not to be the case from prior experience! Avoid at all cost!

The hours they are open is WRONG! They open at 10am only. It definitely put a damper in my plans, seeing the wrong hours since I came early(and I don’t live in this town), but they do have very inexpensive furniture and often have furniture sales!

This place is great for things like stereos(I scored turntable combo for $ 25), and some books and furniture. Dont know about the clothes. they will take a larger range of donation types then Goodwill, whom is very picky/

I went back a second time because they do have a decent selection of men’s clothing and it’s close to the other Rohnert Park thrift store. I ended up finding the exact same Brooks Brothers dress shirt in a different color but instead of $ 4.50, it ended up being just $ 2.25 on a half off day. The high prices on some of the premium items still bothers me($ 20-$ 30) but they do have good deals on some quality items. A bonus about this location is the El Polo Loca down the street.

I only make it in here once every couple of years since I rarely have reason to visit this part of Rohnert Park. But it seems like every time I’ve ever stopped in at random, I’ve come away with some great finds. A few years ago I blundered in on a sale day where I got a bunch of great«higher end» shirts for 25 cents each. Another time it was a trove of cargo pants and painters jeans that looked brand new for like 2 bucks each. This most recent trip they were clearing out a pile of old PC games for 25 cents each, among which were a couple I’ve been wanting to get for a while. It seems like one of those few thrift shops that aren’t instantly picked over by «professional thrift flippers» when they put their new stuff out. Yeah it’s dingy and disorganized but that’s part of the charm to me, finding some amazing deal or randomly finding something you’ve wanted for awhile for like next to no money in some dusty corner. I can’t say I saw any of the price inflation that the negative reviews listed here either. And as if the prices weren’t low enough already, veterans can go on Wednesday for a 40% off your total(with your medical ID or even a Vets Advantage card, no need for DD214)

It can be messy sometimes but attribute that mostly to the customers approach to sorting through the available items. That being said, I am always pleased with the selection of both clothing and non-clothing items and regularly find treasures throughout the store. I appreciate the pleasant and helpful staff and the reasonable prices. I am also impressed by all that SVdP does for the community and am more than willing to work within the setup they have.

I am surprised at the bad reviews on this place! I find the prices to be really cheap. I get books here for $ 0.10, kitchen utensils such as spatulas, spoons, cheese graters, etc for $ 0.30– 0.50 each, I got my step daughter a dress for $ 2, and I’ve also gotten some coffee cups and pots and pans for really cheap. Some of their furniture seems a little overpriced, but I have seen some really reasonable, and some really amazing prices at times too. The place has kind of an old feel to it and the women’s clothes don’t really have a very great selection, I’ve never found anything at least, but I have found some good kids and mens’ clothes here for really cheap prices. Overall, I think this place is fun. It’s really big, and you have to dig a little, but you can find some gems here.

I love thrift shopping, and finding diamonds in the rough, however, this place is an absolute disgrace. I wouldn’t bring anything home from here. Filthy, poorly organized, with ridiculously high prices. Majority items ripped, broken, and/or cracked. An instant hand sanitizer station as you exit… I’ll pass.

There is no off hours drop off box. As a matter of fact there is some very hostile signage about not leaving anything. Okay, that’s fine, it just means that you won’t get my donation, or any future donation for that matter. Plenty of other places with drop off boxes.

Never visited a St Vincent de Paul this huge. Very impressive! Friendly staff and great prices as well; books were only TENCENTS when I visited. Tiny parking lot, but worth the trouble.

This is a fairly large store, with a good selection of many items. This is good for a 80s country feel. Lots of good kitchen ware and good sellection of clothing. Ive found some good books here too. Think older thrift store, good prices. Good place to pick up things for your first apartment on the Cheap!

As a connoisseur of thrift stores, I can say that this is one of the best I’ve seen as far as non-clothes items go. They have nice turn around, so I like to go in about once a week(if I can make it before they close at 6!) They have 50% off sales pretty often, which I love. I often find books here for 10 for $ 1. They have a pretty trashy shoe and clothes stock most of the time, but other than that this place is great!
