Fantastic product offerings and service — lots of natural and non-​animal tested products! The owner and manager are both very nice, helpful people. Though it looks like a corporate-​owned store with its fantastic branding and immaculate interior, it is actually a small, local business, which is pretty neat and impressive.

Amazing store. Apothecary is organized, clean and the employees/​owners are really helpful. They carry really nice quality products and take the time to explain how to use them. Love this place and appreciate the people associated with service in this store. I purchased a product that did not work entirely correctly for several months. I talked to Francine and she went back to the Manufacturer and arranged for a new one to be sent to me in exchange for the the other product that was probably out of warranty. Great customer service!!!

I came here a couple of months ago and the staff was great I was helped out by Francine, today when I went in the service wasn’t as friendly but I still found the utensils I was looking for.

I love this store. It’s cute and tiny. They have everything you will need. The owner is so sweet. All the staff is always willing to help with any questions I have. I felt very welcomed in the store. I can’t wait to take my friends to shop there.

Been buying my fav lux brands here for awhile– Francine always takes great care to ship my products to me and sample me on new ones because she listens to my preferences and remembers what I like– cant find that attention to service at any other national retailer! Now I finally jumped into a more major purchase. And of course, this is THE best mirror ever designed– From Simply Human and I’m quite simply very happy

The woman who works here is so nice. I bought several Christmas gifts here, and she offered me several options within my price range. I would definitely go back.

This is a cute little skin care beauty store located at Peninsula Mall on first level.
The store carries quality products mainly for skin, hair and much more.
The lady who helped me was Francine. After reading other Unilocaler’s reviews, I now know that she’s the owner of the store. She was very nice and helpful and took her time to explain how the product I was interested works. At check out, I was offered a free sample which I still need to try.
I would definitely return to this store in the future. Please don’t forget to check in and get your $ 5 discount at check out!
As for parking, it was a breeze because there are plenty of free parking inside the structure. Now go beautify yourself! ^_​_​^

I discovered this quaint little apothecary store in the PV mall.
It is a relatively new store and they carry great skin care lines, hair care products and unique products from around the world.
They do carry a few perfume and cologne products, but its mostly skin care.
I met one of the owners of the store, Julie, who was very nice and took the time to help me find a good body wash.
They sell high end skin care such as Natura Bisse and Darphin, but also men’s products like Jack Black. I ended up buying a bottle of mint body wash and it was a very nice product.
They are still relatively new and getting more products, but the service and staff are friendly, and the products are top notch. I will definitely have to come back again to see what new products they carry, but this is one of the best apothecary stores in the south bay.
They also have great events and an AWESOME $ales Rack!
I highly recommend you check it out if you are in the Palos Verdes and Torrance area.

Just had the very best Darphin Facial, ever! The facial was a wonderful experience which included serene music. My aesthetician, Cindy, was knowledgeable and very professional. The facial was so relaxing that I actually fell asleep. My skin just glowed afterwards and it felt smooth as silk. What a lovely shop filled with great people. The customer service was superb! I highly recommend this place for all your beauty needs! Will definitely go back!

Stopped by here last night for their ribbon cutting. At first, I was expecting to find another hum-​drum cosmetics shop/​boutique, but boy, was I wrong. Despite the spartan layout, they have a very good selection of hand-​picked lines. I can’t comment too much on the makeup or female-​targeted products. However, from a guy standpoint, there’s definitely reason to come in here.
Apothecary has a full line of Bumble & Bumble hair care. Quick tip: B&B’s SumoTech hair product rocks. They also have the entire line of Dermalogica and Jack Black shaving products. No, not THAT Jack Black (though I think a Tenacious D «Rockin’ Your F’in Face Off» Shave Gel would be a great seller).
The owners say they’re still building up their inventory so expect Anthony products to show up in the near future, among several other beauty lines.
Speaking of the owners — all three of them are SUPER nice and helpful and put me at ease, me being a guy shopping in a cosmetics store and all. I wish them the best of luck in being a go-​to skin care shop on the hill.
P. S. — Ladies of the Hill, despite whatever your son or husband may say about shaving, they will ALWAYS appreciate good shaving product. Christmas is right around the corner…
