It’s pretty good soup place for being in Palos verdes. Service is great and you can even get Korean dishes. I often go here to try other dishes. My sons love this place. Interesting décor.

Best BBQ Chicken ever. There’s no place better than Phở Hana(RHE) for this dish!

Phở is just ok, the korean food is suprisingly good, the one star is bc the egg rolls were oily, not just my opinion, but visually, the napkin underneath it was soaked w/oil, bit into it, oil spilled out… I’m working on anger issues so I just accepted it and finished wo eating the egg rolls, so my point is that you see that it’s oily and yet you still put it at my table for me to drink oil while I bite into it, thats why you get one star. I’m sure it doesn’t happen often, I have friends who eat here once in awhile it’s always been fine… but that mistake was a negligent one.

I’ve been a loyal customer of phở Hana since 2007 and I really love it here. I usually get the phở with beef broth and beef(I think it’s #4), but since I’m a vegetarian I’ve had to switch to the veggie noodles. Review for the beef phở: Pretty good, the broth is flavorful and the noodles taste authentic. My only complaint is that they cook the noodles a little before putting it in the bowl with the steaming hot broth, so it’s a little over cooked if you’re a slow eater(like me). overall rating: 4⁄5 Review for the veggie phở: one of the best veggie phos I’ve had since I became a vegetarian! the broth is very flavorful, which is really good and pretty rare as far as clear vegetable broths go!(they’re usually a hit or miss) The vegetables are over cooked(cmon America, step up your vegetable game) so I tend to eat them first before they break in the bowl. The best veggies is the cauliflower, as it’s the least over cooked(). overall rating: 5⁄5(until I can find a better phở place!) Review on my meal last night: My mom and I decided to try something new last night, we ordered a salad, noodles, spring roles, and a kimchi pancake. First thing to note, the spring rolls can be customized to your liking(eg no shrimp). However, I would not recommend getting the spring rolls and taking out the shrimp(which we did), because it’s pretty bland and ¾ths of it is vermicelli noodles. The salad was a flop, unless you like iceberg lettuce. The noodles were extremely tasty, but just slightly clumped together. Very flavorful, and I would order it again! Also, the vegetables were nicely cooked! The kimchi pancake was different, but pretty good. One thing to change would be to cut up the kimchi in the pancake, but overall nothing much to complain about. Overall rating for the salad: 2⁄5. rating for the pancake: 4⁄5. rating for the noodles: 5⁄5. rating for the spring rolls: 3⁄5 review for my favourite drink, mango pineapple slush with boba: very generous portions and pretty cheap, I love it and get this drink every time. I should probably branch out, but this drink has become a comfort thing for me! Overall the staff is very nice and fast. We know the owner really well, and he has our order down to a T. Very friendly people and a cozy restaurant!

Can the customer service be any worse? Why do I have to yell«excuse me?» from all the way across the room 3 times? The waiter was just watching TV the entire time. I have no comment on the food outside of the fact that it’s just plain phở. The prices a reasonable.

The chicken phở could definitely use more flavor or even salt. The chicken itself was good though! At the end you get a free dessert, which makes up for the higher price for phở in general. Would come back if my original favorites were closed.

For a place that specialize in phở, it is by far the worst phở I have ever had. You are better off eating instant noodles. Broth was bland, the coffee was mediocre, an the service is also very lacking

Been coming here for a couple of years. Flavorful broth, consistent, reasonable price, and quick. Seating in the front and back of store. I like to sit in the back because it’s more private. Check it out, you can’t go wrong.

Phở Hana is one of the classic Palos Verdes hometown restaurants on the hill, especially for teens and pre-teens who frequent the malls. It’s always been consistently good phở place with quick service and reasonable prices. The atmosphere of this place is interesting with its Korean drama shows playing on the tv and the numerous nutcracker figurines scattered around the restaurant, but it’s a place where many have grown up coming to again and again. I usually just get the normal rare steak phở or some variation, and it’s just a simple solution to get my phở fix. I enjoy that they also serve a free dessert at the end of the meal: shave ice with red bean, boba, and condensed milk. Phở Hana is simply a hometown kind of restaurant that you’ll never forget.

I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and absolutely love their Korean barbecue ribs! It’s always great seeing Chris whenever we come in because he’s known me since I was a kid and always recognizes our family; overall very friendly service! The KBQ’s amazing and comes with a salad, side of rice, and a nice bowl of warm soup and it smells DELICIOUS as it’s cooking in front of you! Make sure to ask for some extra napkins because you’ll definitely be needing them after finishing the ribs and licking off your fingers! Also, bring an extra shirt if you plan on going out afterwards because the ribs’ smell will definitely stick to your clothes ;)

Sometimes I go hiking with the middle-aged folks at my parents church and sometimes I follow them to eat phở after hiking. I am no phở connoisseur but I like this restaurant’s phở. I like it because the soup doesn’t have all the fat floating on top and they give you a healthy serving of noodles, but not meat. Meat servings are scrawny. They also give you free shaved ice afterward! It has red bean and tapioca pearls. This restaurant feels a lot cleaner than other phở restaurants that I have been to. Maybe that’s why the phở runs close to $ 9 a pop. You’re paying for location and cleanliness. I don’t mind though.

Nice Vietnamese noodle house offers variety food selection. It offers Korean food as well since the owners are Korean and Vietnamese as husband and wife. They offer very friendly and fast service and the food taste great.

I love Phở Hana!!! First, I love that PV has some cultural diversity with restaurants. It desperately needed it. The male waiter there is awesome! He always remembers my boyfriend and me and what we like. He’s always working too! We order the spring rolls and they are delicious. The sauce is sweet and yummy. My boyfriend orders the phở and it is awesome. I actually crave that broth. I order a separate bowl and could literally drink the broth! My boyfriends son always orders the chicken fried rice and he loves it, he’s not an easy please either . They serve beer and wine which is nice! They have 2 flat screen Tvs in case you want to watch a sporting event and the windows face the peninsula center so you can people watch as well. There’s no outdoor seating so can’t bring my pooch. I love phở Hana and am grateful to have different food on the hill.

Hands down the ONLY Phở I go to! I love how fresh the phở is! I always get the chicken phở! The owner is very detailed and loves to make you feel at home, which I love! They also offer free shaved ice which is so delicious! There is plenty of parking here!

i love this place… they know me so well… i go there and order phở… and they remember what i need… i didn’t go here for several months and came back last night and the owner remember exactly what i needed… i was blown away… they price is little bit higher than normal places but you get what you order… this is one of few places where i can trust seafood… i got seafood phở last night. but i usually get vermicelli… they also give you shave ice on the house… they also have other food and they are also good. the space here is not too big or small, but the decoration is nice… id wish they had a small band play…

I’ve been coming here for years and the only thing that’s changed are the prices. For $ 8.49, it’s pretty pricy for a bowl of phở, but the portions are so big! I can get full from a small phở here, just from all the noodles and toppings they give you. The boba here is alright, but cheap so I can’t complain. + the free shaved ice they give you at the end of the meal is the cherry on top :)

Phở Hana is a place that my wife and I frequently come to because the family that owns this place really knows how to serve up great Vietnamese and Korean comfort food. Since we used to live in the area, we came here because it honestly felt like home cooking. It’s in an isolated part of the Peninsula Center, so not too many people really take the time to venture out to this location. We always are treated very well whenever we come here, and I attribute that to the homely vibe and the quality in which they treat any of their customers when they walk through their doors. They have a great menu that contains appetizers(egg rolls, spring rolls, combo platters), phở, rice & meat dishes(BBQ chicken, pork, beef, ribs), and the complementary red bean and shaved ice dish. The broth they use in their phở is pretty clean and doesn’t taste like it’s made from lard. It is the one restaurant that we have always come back to because they’ve always given us delicious food and wonderful service for years! If you feel like grabbing a nice sit down meal and you happen to be in the Palos Verdes area, feel free to stop by Phở Hana!

If you’re craving phở, it gets the job done. Since there isn’t a lot of competition for phở in this area, I’ll take what I can get. I get my usual Phở Tai at every phở restaurant(regular beef noodle soup) and this time was no different. The noodles were the right texture and the soup was ok, not too greasy, didn’t make me too thirsty afterwards, but it needed just a little bit more kick of flavor. I believe that this place is Korean owned and operated. There were quite a few Korean food items. It’s like you can satisfy both ethnic cravings at once! The décor inside is nice, but it might be difficult to accommodate large groups. The prices are also a bit higher compared to your standard bowl of phở else where. Again, the lack of competition in the area allows for Phở Hana to up the prices a bit(probably b/c the rent is also super expensive.) Anyway, Phở Hana is A-Ok as they say on Unilocal
