Pottery Barn Store No 475

Walked in — not a soul. Saw two women inside their counter chatting their heads off. No eye contact, no offer to help, zero attention. They seemed not wanted to get bothered.

This is my favorite Pottery Barn in LA. Nice drive in Palos Verdes to get here. The employees are down to earth and always helpful. If you want «first class» customer service this is the place to go.

I have never felt so disrespected shopping in my entire life. Walked in the store looking for someone to help us for 20 mins. There was an older lady on the phone the entire time and when I asked if she could help us she rolled her eyes and said she’s only one person and she had no time. The other man working was helping a customer. The woman refused to help us and then pushed me out of the way to get to the other computer at the other end of the store. We wanted to buy a rug but we’re so disrespected we walked out. Unless you walk into this store wearing high end clothes and accessories you will get no help at this store. I guess I didn’t look rich enough to bother her.

This is one of my favorite stores in PV. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I recently purchased 2 crystal lamps and one if them was missing a switch. Greg, the store manager made a painless replacement for me without any hassles. I would highly recommend this store if you’re looking for something quality, reasonably priced, and great service.

This Pottery Barn is a little out of the way but the drive is well worth it.
Because it is not located in a big mall, there is plenty of natural light and the staff takes time to show you around if you need help and will also leave you alone if you just want to browse.
What surprised me is they seem to know every one of their customers by name and remembers what was previously purchased by each customer. When I was in the store, I over heard one of the staff helping a husband add-​on to what his wife purchased last night as her Christmas Gift. That you don’t see often.
The PB products & service is excellent nation wide. The attention to detail, short lines, excellent product knowledge & the personal care this store on the hill gives is the added cherry on top.

We did a face lift on our house with the help of PB Rolling Hills. Cherie helped us to design the layout and selections to perfectly fit our 1920’s craftsman home. We abvsolutely love every piece we have. Nicole was very helpful in keeping us well informed about special rebates and financing options to get the most bang for our buck. The white glove service was prompt and very professional. Great Experience!!! Thank you PB team!
