Meijer Gas #228

I’ll keep this review short and sweet.
I downloaded Gas Buddy (or one of those cheap gas apps) and this place always comes up near the top of the list. I usually find myself at Meijer these days because of my work schedule and if I need gas or will need gas in the near future, I’ll swing by the pumps to get a nice price.
I don’t often venture inside, however I did once or twice in the past and it was pretty stocked and clean. I couldn’t give the 5 stars because I typically only get gas then head home, but this seems like a nicer gas station. I have certianly seen a lot worse.
Unless they shut down or start to jack up their prices, I’ll be back later this week to fill up again.

Bought a 12 pack of Coors Light here today for the Hawks game on the way home. Date on beer is April 13… do the math and make your own judgement. Was $ 9.09 for a 12 of bottles, not bad there tho I guess, it just means I have to drink them quicker!

Meijer’s has some of the cheapest gas in the area! I stop here whenever I can to fill up. I locked my keys in my car for the first time in my life here about a month ago. :(When I did so the employees must have thought I was crazy but they were nice and accommodating to my pleas to not tow my car as I got picked up to get my spare keys at home!
Bonus, it’s surrounded by a ton of food places!

After shopping at Meijer, I had to get gas (what’s new) and I had a really nice experience one time (how many of you say this about a gas station).
I am a true dedicated and loyal customer of Meijer because of their great staff as well as great products that they offer.
I had to run to the Chase bank next to the Meijer Gas station so I went ahead and pumped. When I got out of my car to do my thang, an older gentlemen approached me to greet me. First thing I had noticed was that he was the normal greeter I would see greeting me as I would enter Meijer. (I’m a sucker for older cute men). He did startler me a bit as I did not expect someone to approach me to greet me. Of course, he just asked if I was having a good day and if I was interested in opening a Meijer Credit Card. I TOTALLY would, but I didn’t want one. He said «That’s ok, have a great day ma’am». How ADORABLE was that? I have never been approached at a gas station to be greeter and then asked if I wanted to apply for their credit card. Normally, I would be annoyed by there requests, but I couldn’t turn him down since you can tell his sincerity in asking me politely.
All in all, it sure comes to show how dedicated Meijer workers take their job seriously. I admire these workers as I can first hand understand what hard work means. He took that extra step to make sure that he «hit» everyone that came in/​by. Would it be wrong if I gave him a hug? Great staff!

Octane ain’t bad. Typically gas prices are lower than most popular stations and you can buy decent brand groceries without having to walk into a regular Meijer store!
