The Meadows Club

Came here for the third year in a row for my boyfriend’s company holiday party. Each year we had a great time! The main banquet hall provides enough space to sit, dine, mingle and dance. They set up places to order drinks out in the lobby as well as in the banquet hall. The only drawback is that you have to purchase drink «tickets.» It would be easier if the bars just accepted cash or credit and you could bypass the «tickets.» The food is pretty good! Each year our company had a salad bar, selection of meats, and pasta bar. We always found the food to be good! The dessert bar is by far the best with a large selection of desserts! They decorate the club and keep it clean. It’s a nice place to have a large party!

Decent location for events parties weddings etc. Nicely decorated and located a stone’s throw from Schaumburg this is an ideal venue for any of the occasions mentioned above.

Working with Rebecca was such a wonderful experience. She has been very supportive and provided excellent suggestions. I think the reason we enjoyed our experience was working directly with Rebecca and her vast knowledge both Indian/​American event set ups. She is a true professional.

We had our doubts with The Meadows Club after booking, but it turned out to be a pretty good experience and made our wedding day extra special. We chose this venue because it had high ceiling and no poles unlike many of the other venues we checked out. Vishal was good to worked with and answered all of my million questions. The food was great — everyone wanted to know where it was from and we kept getting compliments on it. The staff was extremely easy and friendly to work with on the day of the event. The only few downside we had was that the bartenders were really slow at serving drinks. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience, and I highly recommend this place as it is roomy and well established.

This is way over due. Thank you meadows club and Vishal for making my wedding perfect. I loved working with the Meadows Club team. They were very patient and knew exactly what I wanted. They understood what we wanted and worked within our budget. They were very professional and didn’t give us the run-​a-​around. They went above and beyond to make my special day memorable. The food was absolutely delicious and we got so many compliments from our guests. I recommend Meadows Club to everyone.

We just had a Sangeet event for our Son’s wedding celebration. We had been there before and liked the service they gave so it seemed. Dealing with Vishal and his boss was a nightmare. They were rude and basically have no concept of customer service. I would never go there for an event or deal with them ever. They deserve zero stars.

saturday and monday night had the same price per person which erked me especially when other venues charged less on weekdays.
the food we ate at the tasting was completely different than what was served at our party. it wasnt even a slight difference. it was a huge difference. tasting was more like mortons steakhouse and what was served at the party was mcdonalds.
the girl who was helping us was nice, not very helpful though but nice ill give her that much.
i honestly felt like they were rushing us. they kept asking if we wanted to serve the food. like literally every 15 minutes.
my whole experience here is pure regret.

We recently had 2 events at the MC in September, one was our Garba and the other was our Wedding. We worked with Vishal who was very helpful and professional, returned emails in a timely fashion, and went out of his way to make sure everything ran smoothly. The food was great and our guests were very happy. The Gujarati chef made all the changes that we asked him to. There were some minor details that didn’t go as planned but none of our guests noticed. Our wedding planner was easily able to tackle any issues with the MC staff. Overall, we were very happy with our experience.

We were looking for a banquet hall to have our 50^th High School Reunion and we couldn’t have found a better place. Rebecca was very accommodating and they followed through on everything that they promised to, in addition to some things we forgot about. We ended up under budget for our reunion and they helped us with many small details. I would recommend this facility to anyone, from business meetings to weddings. We had the best experience we could ever imagine and it was due in great part to Rebecca and the staff at the Meadows Club

We recently visited this place for their New year eve bash. Omg wat a disaster it was. Very disappointed. The place was over congested and people were feeling suffocated. The food was jus ordered from different near by restaurants and jus put together on tables. We paid $ 100 per person and felt completely cheated. Then there were performances. The guy had absolutely no sense of taking to a crowd. He shld not even be in the crowd. The table setting was so closely set up that each time the guy behind me got up he hit my chair .
We will definitely not go to this place again.

If I had to get married all over again, I definitely would not pick this place again. We chose it because a family friend recommended it and offered a great price but there were many issues with this place. The reviews online were not good but we still decided to give it a chance and that was a mistake. First of all, when signing the contract, we were asked to give an estimated count which we said 400. The entire document we went over said ‘estimated’ and obviously we don’t know the exact number we will have 6 months before. However, the document we signed said «guaranteed minimum» which we didn’t notice since the entire time we were told It’s an estimated number. We told Vishal (our sales guy) many times that we will have less and he said that’s fine we can adjust it at the final payment. After we made our final payment about two week before the wedding for 350 people, it was no issue. However, then all our problems began. Vishal called us that night and told us Madan (the owner?) said we have to pay for 400 no matter what. When we asked to speak with him he refused to call us or give us his number until I mentioned how unprofessional and wrong that is to cheat us like this. He offered to give us some free food and we agreed since we did not want them screwing up our wedding (which was 2 weeks later). The issue was not about money, but we were lied to and cheated. Other major issues: We had a missing table at the reception so guests were waiting and the venue finally put the other table in (it was originally on the table map so not sure how they messed this up). We weren’t informed that we have to pay to use their speakers or projectors until after signing the contract (my cousin just got married at the Westin a month ago and they didn’t charge her for this or the fact that they had less people than «estimated»). Originally they said they have 3 rooms available for the morning ceremony but when we come in to sign the contract they tell us its only 2 rooms decorators came to set up night before and had to wait few hours since they were told a wrong time they can come set up. We wanted the stage extended so we can have our Mandap fit on their stage and this was written down however it was never done.. THIS PLACE IS A BIG SCAM AND THEY WILL TRY AND RIP YOU OFF AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE SO MAKE SURE YOU READ THE CONTRACT IN DETAIL AND DON’T TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY. MADAN IS VERY INTIMIDATING AND RUDE. It was the most stressful 2 weeks before my wedding ever and I don’t wish that on any bride or their family. I wish I had my wedding in an Americanized location not run by cheating Indians. The only good points were the food was excellent and we got a reasonable price due to our family friend. However I would have paid a little more elsewhere to be more stress free. I will not recommend this place to anyone I know.

My husband and I were paying for our own wedding so we were looking for a perfect place to have wedding in budget. We looked at many places. We were about to give up and have a wedding at a banquet hall, when I found a small ad in one of the bridal magazine. One of those ads where someone could just over look, but it caught my eye. So I made an appointment to see the venue. At this point our wedding date was not set so we were just looking. After seeing the Meadows club, we went to other halls and revisited the once we already seen, but the Meadows clubs did not leave my head. So, when our wedding date was set, I went to the Meadows club to book our date.
I had my wedding and reception at the meadows club on June 23 2013. All I can say was WOW. From the first meeting to the day of the wedding all the staffs were professional and great. When I first signed the contract with the meadows club, I was working with another coordinator, but 7 months before my wedding I found out that she was no longer there and I was little nerves about working with someone else since the coordinator and I connected really well. But I meet Vishal and he was great. I think I changed my mind about the chair cover and sash color about 20 times and room arrangement about 10 times before my big day. Vishal was very understanding every time I made the changes.
My mother in-​law is very picky about food; she used to own a restaurant. When we went for the tasting to pick what we will serve, and my mother in-​law was so impressed with the food. I told my mother in law, it may not be as good as our tasting on the wedding date, since most places the food are not as good as tasting day. But, guess what, the food was as good as the tasting. My signature cocktail was soo good too, my husband and I am not a big drinker so when they asked us to pick the signature cocktails, I did not know what to pick, so I just told them something good yellow and purple and it turned out great.
Vishal was there on my wedding day to help my wedding planner and other vendors setting up things and took great picture of our wedding. I had great time and my entire guests were impressed with the venue.
I did have problem with the lighting in the room. The meadows club now use some other company to do the lighting for the events, there was miscommunication from the owner and the lighting tech so I did not have dance floor light during my wedding. I got the basic lighting package which should of included the basic floor lighting was not provided. I did get some money back from the lighting group for not having the lighting. Vishal assured me that it will never happen again.
Also, bridal room was upstairs that was little inconvenient but we managed.
I could not have picked a better place to have my wedding.

I recently attended a «Cross Cultural Collaboration» event at The Meadows Club. I would highly recommend this venue to my friends/​family for personal or corporate events. The facility is both elegant and state-​of-​the-​Art. The cuisine was excellent and offered enough variety to suit all tastes.

We had our wedding at the Meadows Club on 8÷25÷12. We worked with Rian for everything and she was great. She was very accommodating to the fact that we (the bride and groom) live outside the country and could only come in for tastings and decision-​making at certain times. The food was great, service professional, and the venue itself is very nice. There was another wedding going on at the same time as ours, and the Meadows Club staff did a great job separating the two weddings so we weren’t bothered at all by them.
None of our guests had any complaints and were in fact impressed with the service at the Meadows Club. The only difficulty we had came with set-​up and some confusion over who was responsible for setting up what. It all worked out, however, and the hall looked beautiful. When we (and the bridal party) arrived at the Meadows Club and couldn’t remember where the bridal suite was, Rian came running down the hall so we wouldn’t have to wait for long. All in all it was a phenomenal wedding experience and a ton of fun!
I definitely recommend having a wedding at the Meadows Club!

Had our wedding reception here on 8÷26÷12. All our interactions during the planning phase were fine, we met with Rebecca several times to go over details and had everything documented on the contract. We had requested that some food be saved till later in the evening, something the cook said they have done before, also we had asked if we wanted to extend the event and they said they would let us (would pay based on the number of guests remaining at the time per half hour increment). In the contract we even had times listed for when the staff would ask us for the later dinner service and possible extending of the event. The day of the event, met with the manager on duty and went over things, reiterated the things we had in the contract. Everything seemed fine. So as the event unfolds, the regular dinner is served and picked up, several people including us (the bride and groom) have not eaten yet, but we figured we were okay since we had food for 20 people kept in the back for later. The staff starting turning on the lights about an hour before the tentative end time (as we had it in the contract we could extend the event), so our guests start thinking the reception is over, we had to ask the staff to turn the lights back off and tell our guests to come back, well at least the ones we could catch up with. Then as the music and dancing continues, no one from the staff approaches us concerning the food or extending, then suddenly all the lights come on, the music stops and guess that’s that. Several guests go home hungry including the bride and groom (luckily a Denny’s is nearby). The next day, we stop by the venue, meet with Rebecca and being up our concerns and issues. She tells us she will talk with the staff and find out. Then the following day we send over an email again raising our concerns, considering we had a signed contract and paid in full before the event. We got a response that they had a staff meeting the next day (wednesday) and we could expect a response afterwards. Now after a week and a half no word back.
Would not recommend the Meadows Club for a wedding reception, since despite having things in the contract with specific times as well they did not honor or fulfill it.

I have been to the Meadows Club a few times for various events and functions. One which really stands out is when we held a 5-​day function that had guests coming in from all over the country and overseas. I was part of the planning committee and worked closely with the MClub team, most especially with Mike and Rebecca. They were very instrumental in making sure our event went off without a hitch.
The venue atmosphere was very upscale yet inviting. Everything from the food standpoint was extremely well prepared and very flavorful. Nothing that we received felt like «traditional banquet» fare. The cooking staff also prepared traditional Indian chai that everyone loved. All of our guests were extremely happy with the venue and are looking forward to coming again in 2013 or 2014 when Chicago is the host-​city once more.
As for the other types of functions, I find that the services provided were impeccable and classy. This is one of my favorite venues in the Chicagoland area.

I went to a New Year’s Eve party with my family and a couple of friends.
This venue was awesome! The party was great. We had a three course all you can eat buffet. They had a ton of American, Indian, and Chinese appetizers; awesome Indian and Chinese dinner options; and fantastic Indian and European desserts. I had a great time ringing in 2012. There was a professionally run open bar, with margaritas (hehe), and great water service.
This is a great place!

The name «Meadows Club» evoked for me a country club overlooking a golf course somewhere. .. .. . boy was I surprised when I finally found this place and it turns out it’s a banquet hall located in an industrial park!
Reminds me of the old song «Dance 10, Looks 3» from a Chorus line as if you can get over the fact that you basically have to drive past the back of the facility before finding the facaded front, the interior is actually okay, not fancy by any means, but functional.
The serving staff and bartenders were friendly and they poured a good drink. As for the appetizers, they were just okay, pretty standard banquet hall fare.
Plenty of free parking and easy access to the freeway are also pluses. Also– if you are not familiar with this «neck of the woods», know that the sign on Golf Road is tiny and the building is set way back on the property so it is not easy to find.
For this gal– I liked the name better than the actual facility. .. . but then I spend alot of time in some of the best banquet facilities around town!

This place was a great experience. I cant comment on planning an event and how friendly their staff is, however the service staff is amazing.

Am writing this review as the guest of a wedding held at this venue. What’s the one thing that wedding guests will always remember… the FOOD! And I was pleasantly surprised that our orange roughy and filet mignon combo plate was delicious! I love steak and it’s very hard to impress me with steak… especially at a banquet hall! But my steak was perfectly cooked, seasoned, and oh so tender! The wine was… well, wedding wine-​cheap and plenty.
The staff did a cute little dance with napkins twirling above their heads as they enetered the banquet area to start service. I thought this was a special touch… corny but special.
It was a bit distracting to hear dance music blasting from the room next door during the wedding toasts, but maybe that’s because I was seated pretty close to the room divider.
If you’re looking for a venue for a wedding in the suburbs, this place definitely gets my vote for food!
