We live in Rolling Prairie and have been driving past this place since Dec. 2013. The first time we walked in a long time ago it was really smoky in there and we walked right back out. Recently a friend said they turned to a non-smoking place so we tried it and it was great! The inside was new, clean, well designed and the people working were very friendly. They said the non-smoking went into effect on 4÷1÷15. But that’s not it… The food was really good. We only tried the fried cheese curds and the baby back ribs that night but both were very well prepared and presented. The cook even came out of the kitchen to see if we liked everything. By the end of the evening we felt like a couple of regulars… which we will soon become. Prices were good and our bartender, Rochelle, was fun to talk to. We are looking forward to returning often but I wanted to give this place a good review and a new one since the only others were from 2012. Much closer than driving to LaPorte! Enjoy! Oh, and it has a great internet based jukebox for playing any kind of music you want!

Why had I never heard of or been to little tavern too? This is my type of place. Some great beers on tap, locals hanging out and having a pint, clean bar, tons of character, Internet juke box, and super friendly bartender that never leaves your drink empty. Nice work little tavern! Like many rural Indiana taverns, smoking is allowed.

Best fish fry ever. Can’t miss the All you can eat fried perch or white fish on Fri night. Great choice of Great lakes and local brews on tap. Fish is hot, tasty and reasonably priced and they keep it coming. Choice of a small bar seating(my favorite) or dining room.
