Rude racist Blonde waitress! Agreed with customers, said to customers«Sista we don’t need people like you in our bar, we are a closed nitch community that don’t need your business!» Then she flipped us off while smoking her cigarette on the porch.

Will definitely be back! The waitress was new & talked about her issues too much but the cook was awesome. He was funny & friendly & did a great job with all our food. Very very yummy! We were there for lunch on a Wednesday & I also really enjoyed the music they had playing.

This place has a lot of history. Much of it you can learn from the bartenders. I love the live music and a lot of famous people have played here. The staff has always been top notch. They have a happy hour with food specials. The beef slider was good. I didn’t care much for the pulled pork slider. I agree with another review that this is the place to stop along p2p highway.

I’ve enjoyed live music here since 1984, back when the second floor would deflect about 3″ with a big crowd swaying to the beat. It’s a great venue for shaking your tail feathers. Over time the quality of the pub grub has been up and down. The past few years it has been on an upswing.

Charged my friend two bucks so the 4 year old with her could use the bathroom, which is well within their right, but it’d be better if they just said no public restrooms like the rest of the free world. And no need to be rude about it either. Maybe I’m naïve but it seems a savvy(and gracious) business would understand that being successful doesn’t just mean opening your doors and trading cash for goods and services which, from other reviews, it seems they don’t do particularly well anyhow. Not that they are the type of establishment that gives a rip, but clearly I have no intention of patronizing this business in the future.

One of my favorite places for food and live music. The food and the beverages are top notch. This is one of those rare places that there isn’t a bad thing on the menu. When in doubt, start at the top and work your way down. Our personal menu favorites are: Half a Chicken, Anything BBQ, the Eggs Benedict(make sure to get it on Crabcakes — when available). Some of my favorite specials are: Sushi(infrequent, but as fresh as Boulder), Shrimp and Andoui Sausage on Grits, others. Favorite adult beverages: The Bloody(the mix is house maid, strong pepper and other flavors, generously sized in a pint glass, and delicious), The Top Shelf Margarita, and local beers on tap. Wifi is /very/fast too.

The Stage Stop is our«go-to» place on weekend mornings. Their Eggs Benedict can’t be beat, especially when the chef has crabcakes instead of English Muffins. My other favorite meals are the brie-burger with avocado and the ½ roasted chicken. My husband likes the pork. The bartenders(especially Ben & Andy) make a to-die-for Margarita! Service is generally very good and the music on the weekends is worth the drive.

This is the worst place EVER. Food is bad, but the owner treat her customers like garbage, she actually cursed my husband, after we spent $ 300 in there, all because she didn’t understand which«jack» I was talking about… WOW bitch, good luck with that. We were there every weekend until that, which sucks cause not many option uphill, I guess she counts on that fact, it’s there or a Casino or Ned… wish the BBB was up here, she’d get shut down quick… be warned. the pork is rotten, tasted like they made it like 2 weks previous, made me sick, for 2 days. I guess these positive reviews are friends of her’s, just sayin, NOONE could give this place 4 stars, except for the music, and the sound guy running upstairs, he is GOOD!

Alright, we went back for lunch. This time I got the Reuben and my gent got the lamb. Wow! Finally what I had hoped from the last review. Amazing food. More than that, the wonderful staff was in again. They are friendly, fun, and just really down to earth people. I really am thankful we gave this place another chance. We will go back. I am still holding the five because if our lady experience, but I really hope it continues each time we take our long drive!!! Today, that long drive was worth it!!! :)

As a local, I can say that the StageStop has changed hands in the recent past(within the last year) and this is a good thing! The new proprietor has a great menu and has dinner specials on the weekends. Everything my wife and I have had there is very good! You should definitely disregard any reviews that are older than a year because of the new ownership! In addition to a menu where none of the meal items are over $ 12(with $ 14 for the specials), they typically have great live music many nights of the week in the upstairs«music hall», which includes a pool table. They have a great deck upstairs that overlooks the railroad tracks that head through the Moffat tunnel in the distance. We’ve seen some of the most amazing sunsets on that deck! If you’re looking for a fun place with great food, avoid the other stops along the way and stop at the Stage Stop!

Pretty good ‘cue and not a bad stop along the Peak to Peak Highway. We had the pulled pork and green chile which satisfied my craving for BBQ for a boy from the South. This was my first time here, so of course I can’t compare it to what it used to be like, but geez louise, I can’t believe the complaints about this place. It’s a BBQ joint, right? If you want table service, go to a fancy restaurant where you pay $ 20 a plate, and if you want gluten-free, just take the meat off the bun or ask them to put it on the side. My girlfriend has celiac, and it’s really not that difficult.

We must have hit a very off night. The five of us went in last Saturday evening for something to eat. We liked the rustic atmosphere and there was a band so we were pretty optimistic. Showed up kind of early but there were a handful of tables already seated. Our server was friendly and attentive. We each ordered something different and had some beers and drinks. So far so good. The app came, nachos and they were pretty meager but i figured oh well. Our meals came later and i was looking forward to a good burger, hard to mess that up. WRONG! It was ordered med. rare and came out incinerated, mostly char. Skip the vegetarian green chili, really hard to choke down. That was the only dish i figured could be dicey anyway. Ribs, really dry and tough, i think they had sat around the fridge for a while. The pulled pork was not served hot and was also dry and bland. The best thing ordered was the chicken fingers for my 4 yr. old. I hate to writ reviews like this. I thing the cook must have been coming off a bender. Lastly, and this is no fault of the restaurant was the band. They were the early talent but man that guitar player slaughtered some of my favorite tunes. I am sre this place has seen better days, but next time we will eat in Nederland.

The Stage Stop is the best surprise along the Peak to Peak Highway. Wonderful food, décor, people, all in a barn built in 1868 along the train tracks in sleepy Rollinsville. They often have concerts on the weekends upstairs, and a fun bar downstairs with shuffleboard. We don’t eat meat, so I can’t comment on that, but we love their mountain trout with choice of amazing sides(Gorgonzola risotto, the best Brussels sprouts, wonderful mashed potatoes, grilled beets, the lists goes on), and the bean beet burger without a bun for a great vegetarian option. But I have seen many dishes for carnivores that look pretty amazing too. Very reasonably priced.

I had the best Veggie burger I have ever had in my life! It was about 1.5″ thick and the bun was toasted and went really well with the french fries. I was able to drink a nice dark beer. AND they had jazz music playing upstairs on a SUNDAY!!! great place. Good job with what you have done with the place!

I have fished, biked, hiked and snowboarded up in the high peaks of Boulder County a lot over the years. I have never really stopped in Rollinsville. I did so yesterday because we were too lazy to cook our own meal up on Rollins Pass. I had low expectations on the meal, just because The Stage Stop is the only place for about a 5 mile radius. This place was awesome! Excellent, homemade food. The chips were great, the BLT sandwhich was excellent. So was the ham and egg sandwich. Great friendly service as well. The building has the unique mix of history and art. I will hit this place again for sure.
