This place is also known as Brady’s Landing, which used to include some sort of watersports place. Anyways, this is a really great find if you can figure out how to make it out here. They serve locally raised, antibiotic and hormone free meat(including buffalo steaks!), US and Canada wild-caught fish, and US-only vegetables(including locally grown vegetables). But this is not the sort of place that you’d expect to find that(i.e. a yuppie hotspot). Instead, this is really a central Indiana bar(21 and over only) with the typical crowd you’d associate with it. I was here on a Friday night and there looked there was only one other table that could obviously be labeled as the«weekend lake crowd.» Their prices are rather reasonable. They have an incredible fried fish dinner(yes, most of the good things on the menu are fried) for $ 8(some great batter on that fish) that comes with slaw and fries(go for their homemade chips or American fries with onions). I haven’t tried their steaks yet, but I will soon. Beer here is cheap. I’m talking $ 1 domestic drafts every day. Bottled beer(including some New Belgium products, other good stuff) at very reasonable prices(nothing over $ 3). Not much seating at the bar(about 5 stools), though. But they have *great* bar food(read, fried). This would be a great place to come and drink beers on a Friday or Saturday night. In short, this is a great little dive that you would do well to discover.
