Ivy Nails

Absolutely love this salon. I developed an allergy to acrylic nails several years ago and have tried many different salons to help me have beautiful nails. They all failed until I found Ivy Nails! Lynn was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I will only use Ivy Nails from now on. Thanks for making me feel beautiful without any pain!

Highly disappointed. I am in town for a wedding and called a week in advance to make an appointment. Told me he didn’t take appointments that early but would make and exception but, «I better not be a minute late». I showed up at 10 minutes until 10:00 am and the salon was completely dark. No one ever showed up.

I’m from California. After coming out of a previous shop with a not so great nail job. I came across Ivy Nails! Best thing that had ever happened to me! Professional job! Will definitely. Come back

I was in Rome searching for furniture. Bummed I didn’t find what I was searching for, I decided on a pedicure/​manicure last minute. I searched near locations on Unilocal and decided on the establishment with the most stars. It listed Ivy Nails. I got the directions and easily found the place. There was available parking when I arrived around 5:30 PM. However, by the time I left the little town had filled up. The establishment is owned by a gregarious husband and wife. I learned she had 17 years of experience before starting her own business. Her inspiration was her family. She told me she loved doing the designs the most. Of course, I got designs on both nails and toes. While she focused on my toes the husband did my nails. He was funny. He kept telling the customers «$ 5 more» for additional requests. We all discussed and laughed about the comedian Anjelah Johnson. He also informed me of the future expansion plans. He’s knocking down a wall and adding another row of massage chairs. It sounded like a great idea! He mentioned and promoted different aspects of the town and businesses in the area. He also gave suggestions about my nails. He removed the previous polish, as well as performed the manicure itself. I was impressed by the way the old gel polish was removed. He placed my hands in a small dish that held polish remover and only the tips of my fingers were disturbed while soaking. She did both paint jobs. I was very pleased with her artwork. Overall I had a great experience and would recommend the service to anyone.

A busy little shop. Good that they will be expanding soon. Friendly and efficient. Our «Girls Roman Holiday «was made better by the nice pedicure we received here.
Walk around downtown Rome, stop here and pamper your feet.

I wouldn’t actually give this place 5 stars but the staff here is very friendly and helpful and that makes up for anything this place lacks (atmosphere mostly). Decent place to come get a basic mani ($ 10) — pedi ($ 20). It’s very small (only 3 pedicure chairs and just a couple more actual nail stations) and not many people working here. Our group of 3 fortunately was able to be taken right away for a pedicure (since all 3 chairs happened to be open) but others ended up having to be turned away after us because there just wasn’t enough staff to accommodate. This was a Saturday afternoon though so it is to be expected at any nail place. My recommendation would be to just go ahead and make an appointment with them in advance. The pedicure was good, but very quick. The quality was there so I’m not complaining, just would have been nice for it to not feel so rushed through. The chairs were great quality (seemed to have been pretty much brand new) and super super comfy. Best pedicure massage chair I have experienced. Add $ 15 (to the $ 10 manicure) for Gel polish. I didn’t receive a gel manicure so I cannot speak for it how long it lasts here but the other girls in my group did and they turned out wonderful. I don’t live in Rome so this won’t become a regular place for me but I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nail salon in this area.
