Good food, bakery too. Will go again. As a Mamoun Falafel customer for many years I was shocked to find falafel almost as good, and to find it in Rome, Georgia was great. Need to go back again next time in Rome. This is five stars for Falafel, but needed hot sauce and a little more vegetables to match Mamoun’s which is the best Falafel in NYC if not the US. If you don’t want to drive 900 miles to NYC, this is the best you will find. Take a day trip to Berry College, go check out the water wheel and the campus. the deer will stand for pictures, then have lunch here.

3 solid stars. Slide me more food on my plate next time and we will talk about adding another star. Food is actually good and I am no easy critic. I really doubt they eat like this in Jerusalem though, I am pretty sure they only have unsweetened tea there.

Not good. Very nice young boy took my order with no supervision. Came wrong. No pita given with salads. Not even asked as I incorrectly assumed that it would. Had chicken kabob… just ok. Jerusalem salad… too much dressing but I will say that it was refreshingly cold on this hot day riding a motorcycle. AND, the electric plugs didn’t work so that I couldn’t charge my phone! Bottom line… I’d say find something else in Rome.

I didn’t know what to expect when I first got there. It’s in an unassuming building(kind of tucked away) but the food there was top notch. I have the pleasure to visit the Middle East a couple of years ago and this place, dare I say, was as good if not better than what I remembered.

Got take out. Food was good but they forgot to give us half of our order. Disappointing when we got home. Realized we were missing an entire entrée and called — had to drive back to pick it up. When we got home the second time, we realized they had also forgotten our sad. Frustrating.

An update to my earlier review about location. The Western Sizzlin has been razed, but if on Martha Berry Boulevard you can enter through the Wendy’s parking lot.

Excellent food and service! We were in Rome for just a few hours for a basketball game and stumbled onto the Jerusalem Grille here on Unilocal. The food was great… we had the hummus and kabob platters… but the service was excellent. The young men suggested favorites from the menu, answered questions, and were very attentive. When back in Rome we will definitely dine here again.

Overall the food was good but some of the chicken and beef prices were either sitting out too long or over cooked because they were really dry. Customer service was excellent.

Very authentic food. The real deal. Very very good. I lived in Saudi Arabia for 13 years. Ate the same food in Riyadh daily. Thank you for coming to Rome!

Delicious! I never thought that this little place would be able to pack such flavor in their food. I ordered the #1(gyro sandwich with a salad instead of fries) and a small hummus and it was under $ 12. The sandwich alone was super filling and delicious! The pita bread had a wonderful flavor and was served still warm. The hummus had a fresh flavor and the oil had a hint of lemon that made it taste so light and delicious. I was very impressed with this place and I’m happy to have some left overs for later.

The absolute best hummus and falafels I have ever had and I I’m comparing these dishes from Jordan. Staff was attentive, even though their service model was a little confusing, we will defiantly be back when we revisit Rome, Ga. Rome residents, please support this authentic delicious establishment!

I lived in California for 13 years, and had the best middle eastern food. This place holds up! Authentic and fresh, I would definitely come again. Very friendly service with a clean atmosphere. I wish they would serve baklava. The portions are very big! A really good value.

I have been waiting for Jerusalem Grill to open for the longest time, and now that it finally has I am happy to report that it is worth the wait! I have been twice now, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. My first visit was on a rainy night when the restaurant was fairly empty. I was just in for takeout(a gyro sandwich combo, which turned out to be delicious. The pita was fresh and doughy, they were generous with the meat and veggies, and the tzatziki tasted homemade with a nice, subtle kick. The fries were pretty good, though not outstanding, and a generous side serving.) The young gentleman behind the counter was very friendly, answering all of my questions about the restaurant and even offering me a complimentary Turkish coffee while I waited on my food(it was delicious — spicy and rich, the way I like it!) Came in again tonight when a buddy and I decide to try dining in. I had the kofka sandwich this time(beef and lamb with onions, tomatoes, and tzatziki) and it also came with the good-but-not-phenomenal fries. The sandwich was excellent, but a little low on the sauce. No worries — they bring out a bottle in case you want to add more. Food comes out quickly considering it’s made to order, and I was so happy to see the place packed. I love seeing non-chain restaurants do well in Rome, and I believe this restaurant has the right ambience, very good food at the right price, and excellent friendly service to do quite well indeed. Jerusalem Grill also offers rice as a side on plates(as opposed to sandwich combos) and has solid falafel. This has quickly become my go-to place in Rome. If you’re feeling adventurous but dining with someone who doesn’t feel like trying Mediterranean food — this is Rome, and we have our share of boring eaters — fear not. Jerusalem Grill offers cheese steaks(chicken or beef) and while I haven’t tried them, a friend assures me they’re just as good as the gyros.
