Hidden gem! All the food is amazing and fresh. They have a huge wine selection and very comfortable couches to sit, relax and enjoy. I recommend the tomato bisque soup, you wont find better!

So, here’s how we accidentally found this absolute gem of a café. We were on a 5 day long songwriting session retreat in Rome, NY and oh was it cold! Like 15 degrees below zero cold. Like the pipes froze and we had no water for a day cold! And thank God that happened ’cause we were forced to venture out of the cabin and into town and that’s when we found the most cozy and hip coffee house /eatory /music venue ever: Kikko’s Koffee House. Tom, the owner was just a delight. We got to know him in those next two days, as we returned that next night for another yummy meal! The first day we discovered Kikko’s we had two delicious Chai Tea Lattes to begin with. After we’d spent a few hours working on a new song we had started in the cabin, we took a break and had some dinner. Oh, delicious! We started with the Tomato Bisque, then we had a very simple and tasty house salad followed with a flatbread vegetarian dish that Tom made especially for us since we are vegetarians. And of course we had a lovely glass of Pino Grigio. That second night we decided to start with two glasses of Riesling. We then ordered the broccoli and cheese quiche and a green salad. We followed that with a wonderful vegetarian panini dish that Tom made special for us once again. For dessert we shared a yummy piece of cheese cake and another Chai Tea Latte. If you are ever in Rome, go to Kikko’s. You will feel like you entered a type of Utopia! Congrats Tom! You have created a great environment for people to go to for every occasion! So chill, sophisticated atmosphere. No crazy kids running around distracting me from relaxing. Love the comfy furniture and piano!
