Fabulous food! Eat here! This food truck is some of the best barbecue you’ll find anywhere & just about the best food in Rome. While the meats are succulent & flavorful the Thursday & Friday fish fry with Panko bread crumbs is amazing. Add to that the sides: flavorful coleslaw, salt potatoes & macaroni salad. Baked beans with a depth of flavor far beyond what grandma makes.
The owners are delightfully friendly & keep the truck spotlessly clean. Don’t let the location fool you — this is top rate food. Bring cash — no plastic accepted.

This is the best BBQ you can get in Rome and I would go so far as to say the best food in Rome period. It’s a food truck run by a husband and wife team who keep it clean. They are a friendly and welcoming couple.
I had the ribs which were yummy and tender but I really want to talk about the sides. The coleslaw was made with fresh herbs. The baked beans were alive with spices. We left still trying to guess what herbs and spices he uses. He won’t tell of course. Not your run of the mill sides.
Forget Scotty’s (Mike’s is much more delicious) and go to this food truck and support them so they don’t leave Rome!
