Shorter Heights Florist has long been my go-to florist, for my family and for my work. They are capable of stunningly good and creative work, and never until recently have I felt their prices failed to reflect good value given that quality. Sadly, however, I will not use them again. An order for two arrangements of a particular sort given in person(so the order would be right) was ignored, and arrangements of a different sort were provided. Moreover, the arrangements, such as they were, could have been purchased for a third the price from any number of local grocers – essentially they looked like a grocery-store mixed bouquet put in the cheapest glass vase handy. Very disappointing – and obviously I now wonder if the flowers I have sent from them on behalf of my work are likewise. I can’t take that chance, so henceforth will shop elsewhere unless I can see the flowers in person before they are given.
