Sweet Pickles

Delicious and Delightful lunch. Had chicken salad sandwich sitting outside — what a lovely lunch. Service is impeccable and they are so generous.
When I was ready to pay and they were closing they offered me a cup of coffee on the house and came out with delicious and fresh coffee and the best chocolate fudge cake. It is so nice to have good food but also to be shown such hospitality!
Made my day.

My wife and I thought we would try this place today. Two women working behind a bar like deal. Not much selection to choose from. My wrap was 6 bites… then gone. Very small amounts. Big prices though. Its like someone who always wanted to have a restaurant, but not really understanding the principals. Example: Water from a gallon plastic jug. A couple of very small pickles on your plate. The pickles were really built up, but nothing great. Taste like store bought. Cold soup that tasted like salsa. Maybe I missed something there. Others seem to like it. The woman fixing the food was very sweet. The other… seemed to be somewhere else. You always thank your customer for coming in and for their business. Not this lady. Could care less about customer 101. We won’t be back.

Location on Broad Street in historic Forest Hotel Building-​very quaint and charming! Menu always has a great varitey and an assorted specials including soup. Always fresh, delicious, and a great vibe! It’s kind of like eating at a cherished family member’s home that you enjoy-​comfortable and delicious!

This place has the best chicken salad sandwich around! The owner is sweet and entertaining and she loves to make wonderful food. You have to try the pickles!!!
