Worst nail salon I ever went to. It toke me a long time for just a coler on my feet and my toes. The guy kept on skiping customers. Like me. I would never come here ever again

Worst manicure I have ever had. I purchased the ‘no chip’ and will never be back here again. I have had several of these manicures in the past and have always been more than pleased but not in this case. My cuticles were filed to hard I was bleeding, my nails were cut to half thier original length and are so short it hurts, the polish didn’t cure long enough so there are smudges. I will not be back.

Seems like they bend over backwards for a new customer, but on 2nd and 3rd appts, they ask you to physically leave the building and«come back later». Most places will have you sign in and wait your turn. I was pushed out the door and told to come back later. I DON’T THINKSO!

PT is actually in Romeoville and under new management. Danny, Diane and Tracy are fantastic. I met Danny 11 years ago and lost track of him through the years. I am so grateful that he is back in Romeoville. Very warm and friendly environment, my daughter and I love it there. Highly recommend!

I normally don’t write reviews but this business has received nothing but bad reviews. I went in because no other nail shop up and down Weber would take me because everyone closes at 5 and it was 440. They welcomed me with open arms. I got a pedicure and fill in. The pedicure was average nothing special but done correctly. My fill in was done by Danny and it was great. He didn’t have a no chip color to match my toes so he mixed colors together until he got the right color to match my toes. My nails look great and I will definitely go back again.

This was my 2ndWORST experience EVERINDECADES. My nails look like someone let Elmer’s glue dry partially & just stuck the resulting blobs on my nails, smh. The staff was extremely lax(which I don’t actually mind since they weren’t busy– and that made sense later, as my TORTURE ensued). They like to use the excuse that they’re allegedly«under new management», but it doesn’t seem to me that they give a crap about attracting NEW/repeat business. I was seated quickly, but they seemed very uninterested in having a customer as I imagined they’d be– also interesting since they had NO other customers. You’d THINK they’d try A LITTLE. I could tell literally within the first 10minutes that the chick didn’t know what she was doing. I asked her how long she’s been doing nails. She said 2weeks at this location, but that she’s been doing nails for 7 years – 7YEARS, she said. She then proceeded to clump the acrylic on with such lack of detail that she was acrylic’ing THEENDOFMYFINGER around the cuticles. So when she began to file down, she was LITERALLYFILINGTHEACRYLICFROMMYCUTICLES&FINGER!!! WITHTHESANDFILE! …When I told her the tip-ends seemed a little wide, she said that narrower would promote breaking across the nail. ##$%#^&%^!!! I’ve been having my nails done for DECADES. I’ve NEVER experienced someone filing the SKIN on my fingers as if it was normal process NOR have I had someone tell me that it is better that the end of the nail is wider to control breakage. WHYEVENASK what shape I want if you’re gonna do what YOU want ANYway???(or probably all your limited in knowing HOW to do) When they seated me to dry in back RIGHTBYTHE DOODOO-smelling bathrooms, they opened the back door(presumably because they could smell it too) and offered me a bottled water or snack crackers. REALLY? Um. No, thanks. I don’t really have an appetite after INHALING in here, thanks. They also had the nerve to hand me the card that gives you $ 15 off after ten visits: ASIF there would EVER be a repeat visit. I can also tell that within a couple of days, the transition from cuticle to nail bed isn’t going to be smooth. Needless to say, my scratched up fingers & nail beds were SCREAMING when she put alcohol on them before painting, and when I woke up the next day, my fingers were WAYSORE!!! And my Husband(whose account I am using) pointed out that they are ALSOSWOLLEN! I’ve taken photos/video and will post the experience soon. I want a couple of days to pass so that I can also show how horrible the nails will look at the bed where the acrylic should transition smoothly. If I could, I would give them a NEGATIVE star. Overall, I am FURIOUS with mySELF for letting them take a DIME of my money to injure me & put MY health in jeopardy! I should have left at the BEGINNING of the trauma when my SKIN was being filed! The most painful nail-salon visit of my entire LIFE– and I’m no spring chicken. It’s like they don’t even CARE to attract business as an establishment«under new management».

I went here before a vacation because my husband got me a gift certificate. He gets pedicures in the summer there and has never said anything bad. However, he is a man lol. I went in and was seated right away for a pedicure and then a no chip mani. The pedicure was OK(nothing great) but then I asked for a flower on each big toe and the man painting my nails literally drew a blob and asked if it was good. I thought he was joking! I said no and then asked for some sort of line design. It turned out alright but chipped not even 3DAYS later! I’ve never has that happen before with a pedicure. As for the no chip mani, they had a nice color selection and I was happy with the results. Not even 4 days after the polish started peeling off at the cuticles. Granted, I was in Jamaica; however, I have had no chip mani before a tropical vaca and never had a problem. It has now been 1 week since my mani and almost every nail is peeling off. The staff was very friendly and it seemed like they had a few regulars but I will probably never go back.

I usually go to Leeza nails near Starbucks, but the wait was 30 minutes, there was no parking, and I didn’t have time. They are amazing but I was in a rush. Do yourself a favor. Wait the 30 minutes and go to them. It’s worth it. NEVERAGAIN will I come to PT Nails. Came here for waxing(nothing nail related) I wasn’t aware that it’s done right in front where they do the nails. I’m not a fan of having people watch me have it done. The woman doing it then tried to put a used headband on my head to hold my hair back. No thanks, that’s unsanitary. The wax was waaayy to hot, and when I told her that, she just giggled about it, and I actually had to stop her and tell her to cool it more. Her wax application was beyond sloppy, and she missed patches that I didn’t notice until I got home. I have never had my skin that red, inflamed, and swollen after having it done. Then, she didn’t even get all the residue off my face afterwards. She barely said 3 words to me, none of which I could understand through her face mask. Worst $ 12 I have ever spent. There IS a reason PT Nails is always empty.

I walked in for a basic manicure. The two technicians were assisting others. I was told it would be 5 minutes. When he finished with his client, he grabbed manicure tools from the back, not sterile. I asked for sterile, and he told me to come back later for sterile. I walked out. The place did look clean, but that is unacceptable to not have tools that are sterile when there is a risk of cutting someone.

I wish I could give this place less than 1 star, but since that’s as low as it goes, I will just have to tell you STAYAWAY!!! It should have been a warning sign when I walked in at 3pm on a Saturday and there were only two other women finishing up manicures, and one of them was giving the technician the name and number for a temp agency. The prices here are lower than other salons in the area, but trust me, it’s not worth it. Long story short, the technician put some sort of acid on my feet in between scrubbing with what looked a lot like a cheese grater, and a pumice stone. It burned horribly, and left chemical burns all over my feet and ankles. Then he proceeded to scrub SO hard that he cut my heels, top of feet, back of leg(why was he even scrubbing there???) and ankles. It literally looked like he’d used a cheese grater on my feet! Five days later and I still have scabs and chemical burns all over, and I could hardly walk for two days after. I have photos of my mangled feet that I wish I could attach. Trust me, it is NOT pretty! Assuming this place manages to stay in business — pay a little extra money and go just about anywhere else!

Horrible service! They were short staffed, the guy stabbed my nails a few times and to make it worst my acrylics came out crooked after 2 hours! Worst experience ever. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
