I had a salad and it was pretty good. It had chicken in it. And cranberries. And golden raisins. They’re tasty!

The problem is you get off the airplane and typically a boarshead sandwich sounds great. Well here not only are the sandwiches way overpriced they are skimpy and not worth the the hassle. Go to taco bell next door.

Worst ever. Service sucks and the food sucks. Employees are rude and made the comment«that would require extra labor». You are at work.

Always a disaster. There is a reason why the line is shorter than the other fast food spots. Disorganized slow untrained staff

Absolutely horrible food. Bread was like a grade school cafeteria. Service was sad. Prices high, even for the airport. Go anywhere else instead

I ordered a Ruben sandwich. The cook told me it was wonderful. WRONG!!! It was AWFUL. The meat was microwaved to the point of shear rubber. I should have taken it back but I was too tired. Threw most of it away. With all the offerings at this airport try something else. Overpriced too.

I should have read the reviews first, my fault. But in my defense I thought ‘Boars head, a deli, I know EXACTLY what I’ll be getting.” Well, I forgot about the service aspect. Fail. There were 4 people working the shop around 1:20pm on the 16th of May(three of them had names of some variatrion ending in «iesha»). So with that many folks running things, you’d think things would be smooth. They were busy, but not swamped. The lady that rang me up gave me hope. She was rattling off sandwich choices super fast, and I was answering immediately. So I had a glimmer of efficiency(although a fear that my choices were being missed). The wait for the sandwich to get made wasn’t horrible, but the people making them were SLOW. Maybe they were being careful, but it seemed like they really didn’t care. The thing that really bothered me was the ladies reaction when they finished my sandwich. I didn’t know(and couldn’t see) what she was working on, and there was no order to knowing what sandwich was ready when. So she(the lady i guessed was working my order) finishes what she’s doing and never looks up, just mumbles in something in barely English. I lean forward and say ‘Im sorry?’. She again, never looking up, mumbles something. I give her a confused look and lean further forward. Then she finally looks up and yells in my face ‘who got a mesquite turkey?!’. Oh, okay, now that I can hear her I let her know that IS my sandwich. She was clearly bothered, and my initial reaction was to get mad and ask why she was yelling at me. But oh well, kill’m with kindness right? So I thanked her, took my sandwich, and moved on. In the end the sandwich tasted fine(although I was hungry). The bread was lame, just dry off the shelf bread. But the vegetables were good and the meat and cheese were what I expected. I wouldn’t go back there, at least not before the place was revamped and someone actually managed that mess. I think we all forgive sub-par food in an airport, because they’re often working with substandard facilities, short time, and big crowds. But a lack of friendly service(and in this case downright rudeness) is still inexcusable, even at an airport.

The staff at the airport were troubled that we ordered anything and made them work. The food was OK, I don’t have high standards when dining at the airport, but would appreciate some customer service.

This place was terrible and I LOVE boars head. Of course it is in an airport.

Boars Head Deli, located near Gate A74 in the McNamara Terminal seemed like a good idea for a quick grab-and-go sandwich while we waited for our flight to board. They have pre-made sandwiches and salads, using Boar’s Head deli meats, which are usually pretty good. The point of grab and go is to be fast right? oops! We grabbed our sandwiched and stepped up to the kiosk to pay… and started building our sandwich order — and then had to back out to where we could instead pick Grab and Go rather than have the same sandwich built on the spot custom order. And instead of paying at the kiosk, it prints out a receipt to take to a cash register where you then pay to a person. Why have a kiosk for grab and go sandwiches at all — just use the kiosk for those ordering a sandwich made custom… erg. My turkey sandwich had good turkey, but that’s about it going for it. My wife’s Tuscan Turkey had a good sauce as well, which had soaked most of the bread. Paying nearly $ 20 for the two — not worth it. If they had been made to order, probably they would not have been so squished, leading to soggy bread. overall — meh sandwiches per cost, confusing electronic kiosk slowed down the process. and i use kiosks to order fast food at my local jack in the box. i suppose having us pay at a real cashier means that a live person matches what we say we are buying to what we are actually taking, but there’s got to be a faster and clearer way to do this.
