Spiral Stair Inn

If you are ever lucky enough to spend a night or two at the Spiral Stair Inn, then you are in for a relaxing break from the routine of life, an exquisite breakfast, and the pleasure of spending time with the warm and hilarious McDonalds.
My husband and I had a wedding at a vineyard close to Romulus and were directed to The Spiral Inn through the wedding website. Lucky us! We paid a very low rate for an amazing room. The bedroom itself was huge and it had a master bathroom twice the size of our apartment in Hell’s Kitchen. The Bathroom came with a claw-​foot tub and a beautiful sauna. The bedroom has a luxurious kings size sleigh bed and a fridge to keep snacks and beverages. Here is the best part: there is a hot tub! The hot tub is located in the back of the house and is available for use all hours. We sat and looked at the stars at around 1am and it was perfect.
Breakfast is beyond yummy. We ate fresh local candied fruit in delicious crepes and thick (local!) bacon. Honestly I’m still dreaming of that bacon. The meal was paired with a strong cup of coffee topped with fresh whipped cream.
We were just looking for a bed to sleep in and ended up having a memorable experience and we can’t wait for our next visit to the Spiral Stair inn.

Casey and Jayne are wonderful hosts and extremely accommodating. During our stay we enjoyed wonderful breakfasts, a great location, and a warm and charming room. Our time in the Finger Lakes was the absolute best part of our whole road trip.

The innkeepers at the Spiral Stair Inn Jane & Casey made our trip special! They are friendly and very accommodating giving their small town a charming and quaint ambiance. The room had a soft heated bed with sheets and a comforter you lose all your stresses in. The accommodations include a large outside hot tub, very large bath, beautiful Maine coon cat, delightful breakfast each morning, and a quiet view of the hummingbirds and other wildlife. Unlike a chain hotel you can expect the innkeepers to be ready with a custom order breakfast and a friendly conversation when you are. The Inn is conveniently located near the Knapp winery and other great vineyards in the Cayuga area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful B&B in the Finger Lakes. It was conveniently located to great Finger Lake attractions, and allowed us to fit in all the things we wanted to do on our itinerary. Casey and Jayne are great hosts, and the breakfasts were fabulous! The accommodations were great– comfortable King sized bed– and the price was the most affordable we found in the region. All in all a great experience– we hope to come back soon!
