Recently I visit Millers I can only say a few things about this place I think the locals take it for granted cuz they really don’t know what good food is I’ve never been to a buffet like that place was so clean service was excellent food was five star quality I give this place 5 stars the only bad thing I have to say about this place I wish they would open one up by me

I’ve been coming to this area three or four times a year for over 20 years. We always eat dinner here. Food is good solid American, service is great and the place is spotless. They could be $ 3 cheaper as $ 23 plus another $ 2 or so for drinks is a little high when I could probably get the same type of food at the Golden Corral that opened about a mile away for about half the price but still, it’s a family tradition and one that’s not likely to change.

Yummy! We had a nice family breakfast here and enjoyed everything. I think the made to order omelets were the best part. The lady making them had a good personality and kidded around with me while I waited. Our server was friendly and efficient. Only one bad part… I missed the grilled sticky buns. How did I miss the grilled sticky buns???

I tried almost everything at the smörgåsbord all the food was delicious lots of tables to choose from it was less than a half an hour wait for January 1st2016. Don’t forget the wide variety of desserts to choose from for two people about $ 46 smörgåsbord + $ 3 coupon off each individual after four people I would recommend this anytime if you coming to Lancaster Pennsylvania

Visited with my family on a Monday for a late lunch. It was busy, not overly crowded. The buffet was good! The dumplings are homemade! Wonderful! The top round was perfectly done and not fatty! The Swedish meatballs were so good I went back for seconds. To stewed tomatoes are amazing … Just like grandma use to make! A great place for good food after a day of shopping at the Amish Quilt Stores. Will definitely go back.

It was a bad sign when we saw a little girl throw up when she was leaving the dining room. We ordered 3 different things. Greasy burned fried chicken, nothing famous chicken waffles(skimpy chicken Sauce on 3 glazed doughnuts, and roast beef with 50% fat, smothered in gravy sauce. They comp my meal and offered something from the buffet… Well it was very sparse and not that I imagined from my old school trip to see the Amish once. Got sick for the next 3 days, so did my friend 2 days later, and I haven’t heard nothing from the 3rd friend yet.

If the wait is an hour, put a sign on the door. Do not have people stand in line for 20 minutes and then tell them it will be an hour wait. That’s just rude! Update: Thanks Shirley. I’ll make a reservation next time. We were just passing by and hoped to try Miller’s. We’ve heard good things and will give it a try in the future. Two stars for great followup!

I can only give this 3 stars because of its normal price. The food is fantastic, and their staff knows what they are doing, but be prepared to spend $ 20 or more per person. This is a buffet, and the food is great for a buffet, but this is also a bit of a tourist trap.(Screaming kids and rude people on vacation? Check…) It’s also part of a huge parent company that only indirectly helps the local economy, if at all. Luckily, they often have coupons in the local papers, so I love taking advantage of them. But, right down the street is a sit-down restaurant run by actual Amish families which also has a buffet and almost all of the same food. If you want to save a whole lot of money, drive about one mile east on rt30 from Millers, and you’ll find the place that I’m talking about.

I am reviewing the Smörgåsbord only. We went on a very slow night a couple of weeks ago. Most of the food was cold and looked like it was sitting for hours. It was $ 23.95 per person, this would have been a good price if the food was hot and fresh. When they bring out a new bin of food, they put the food that’s been sitting out for a long time on top of the fresh food. The fresh fruit and pies were good. The salad was wilted. They have a good variety of dressings. They put the Swedish meatballs and mushrooms with the shell fish bar so someone who has a shellfish allergy is not able to enjoy the meatballs or a scoop of mushrooms over their beef. The greeters were very friendly, the waitress was nice and did a good job clearing plates, the person at the carving station was friendly. The girl serving the warm pie and ice cream was very nice and helpful.

I love coming here every time I’m visiting PA. We always go for the buffet and the food is absolutely wonderful. The buffet looks huge but it’s pretty much the same food on the opposite side. The desserts are sinful and very tempting since it’s the first thing you see walking into the dining room. Make sure to sit near a window because the view of the farms and fields in the back are beautiful. My mom wanted to come all the way here from Virginia for her birthday dinner and I’m sure we will come back for many more.

Very limited food selection. Mashed potatoes were like baby food. Stuffing was awful. They don’t serve turkey, so what was it stuffed in? We asked why they don’t have turkey and they said turkeys aren’t available due to avian flu, which, of course, is total BS. Shrimp wasn’t shelled. Kids eat free but there was nothing in the buffet that kids would eat so had to waste money on kids entrees that they didn’t even eat. Kids chicken tenders were straight out of the freezer. Drinks were served in tiny 8oz cups that had to constantly be refilled. Desert pies tasted as if they were made from canned ingredients. Extremely overpriced for such a bad and limited selection. Wish i went to golden corral. To add insult to injury, they put a 15% automatic gratuity in the check. A gratuity for what, to have our drinks refilled due to the unnecessarily small cups?

Came for dinner with a group of friends. We made reservations and had to wait about 10 minutes. I paid about $ 30 including tax and tip and all you can eat buffet. It was ok. None of the food was wow. You definitely get A LOT of food, but I wouldn’t say any of it was quality. I did eat a good amount of shrimp, my favorite part of the meal. Carving station was decent. Salad bar was average. Apple pie was AMAZING! Get it a la mode! Waitress was attentive. Place was packed. For a buffet, you get what you come for.

Went here for a breakfast buffet. Was solid and had quite a variety of options, but nothing amazing or worth writing home about. They also have a decently sized gift shop in the lobby. Wouldn’t go out of my way to go back, but wouldn’t avoid it either. It’s a decent place if you’re in the area.

I happen to like homemade soup(one reason I like it on Carnival Cruises and at Pan Asia Braintree) so the ten dollar unlimited soup and salad worked for me. All the soups I had were very good: sausage and cabbage, ham and bean, and especially the vegetarian chili which was superb. The salad bar had everything one would want, with excellent rolls, and predressed Caesar salad. So I can’t comment on whether the full buffet is worth the $ 23 or not, because I chose my option not due to pricing or selection, but due to an admiration for real soup.

Miller’s is another local buffet advertising itself as a «Dutch Smörgåsbord» and for what it is, it’s decent. Great amounts of roast beef, mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, sweet corn, freshly baked bread, fried chicken, butter noodles, etc. Everything is fairly good, but not incredible. The highlight is the fried chicken and waffles. The chicken is not overly battered and fried perfectly. The desserts were outstanding — candied apples, brownies, fresh baked pies, etc. They’ll even serve up the apple pie a la mode if requested. Service was adequate. I was asked if I’d like coffee and it was never brought to me. Expect to pay about $ 22 per meal which is alright, but only if you plan to eat a ton of food. Come hungry. Be sure to check online for coupons to save $ 2-$ 3 off per meal. I prefer Dienner’s next door but still decent enough. They do accept reservations and call-ahead seating so that might give this place an edge versus the other Smorgasbords. Give it a try.

I love Miller’s Smörgåsbord because the food is great and it opens on Sundays(in Lancaster it’s a plus). Here’s what I liked about Miller’s: 1. The salad bar has fruits, pickles, shrimps and a seafood salad that I loved. 2. The desert bar has fresh fruits, brownies and pies, I tried the cinnamon apple pie and the shoofly pie, they were amazing, I wish I could take a piece home. 3. For the meat selections, I love their fried chicken, swedish meatballs, the beef and the ham, they were excellent. The price is a little high, but we checked in on Unilocal and got $ 3 off, so it’s a good deal for the food after all. I would recommend that if you are staying in Lancaster for a weekend, make Miller’s your Sunday lunch/dinner stop.

The food is excellent, and being popular the buffet turns over fast enough that it’s always fresh and hot. But this place is really popular, so I have one important bit of advice. MAKE A RESERVATION. You can do it via their web site, even same day. Our wait was 2 minutes with a reservation. Walk ins at the same time were an hour and 15 minutes! You won’t be disappointed, it’s #1 rated for a reason.

Soooo touristy, yes — but if you are smart you can have a very good meal at Millers. 1. Come during a non-peak time(Before 4PM on Saturday or on a random Tuesday during the off-season.) Have 1 person order off the menu — I had the salmon — ordered it «rare’(yes, really) thus it was not overcooked and still juicy and good. Have the other person get the buffet. Our 10 year old had a grand time with the desserts. Yes, it’s heavy, carbo-loaded food — but once in a 5 – 6 year period, it’s fine. Cathy, our server was attentive, sweet and lovely. Soft drinks(unlimited) were $ 2.25 when we went.

I received a coupon for Miller’s and decided to give them another try. This experience was substantially better than the last. I took my family with me this time and it was at 6PM on a week day. Everything was fresh and full on the buffet and our waiter was very prompt in ensuring our drink cups were full and empty plates removed. This experience was perhaps the best service I have ever received for a buffet.

I’m going to be as straightforward as possible here. $ 23.95 a person for lunch is a bit high no matter where you go. The selection that you get is better than some other places in the area, but not nearly as good as Shady Maple. If I’m paying Shady Maple prices I’d like Shady Maple level selection. But overall selection here is good enough if not great. What you do get taste-wise is actually quite good. The chicken was phenomenal. My wife loved the shrimp. The sides are well made. The desserts are to die for. Anna’s chicken and waffle dish is something special. Nothing I ate disappointed me at all. Even my 18 month old son was chowing away on it all(thankfully for free). The wait staff was attentive to all my needs. I’m sure it helped that it wasn’t busy. I can see why people think it’s a tourist trap. That’s obvious. But it is a good enough meal that won’t let you down. And my wife likes it better here than at Dienner’s down the street. So I have to take that into account.
