i love this hardware store… they have everything. i have no idea why anyone would go anywhere else. this is how the old time stores used to be. reminds me of places i used to go with my grandpa. keep up the good work

If you need it Karl’s has it. You may have to look around a little (which is kind of fun) but you will eventually find what you want. Very friendly service and the employees are always willing to help you. Worth the drive if you are from Lancaster or Palmdale.

This is without a doubt the best hardware store ever. When I have been unable to find something at Lowe’s or Home Depot, I can count on Karl’s Hardware to have it. Their staff is knowledgeable & they go above & beyond to help you with whatever you need. No need to go to Lancaster when I can get it all in Rosamond. Close to home. Fantastic!

I have a favorite local hardware store close to my home. However, having also been to Karl’s occasionally over the years I can say I’ve never seen a better combination of inventory and customer service in any kind of store, period, than what you’ll find there. Today alone: Mike in rental, Chelsea at the front counter, and Luisa in the nursery were all very courteous, knowledgeable, and industrious. This place really is a rare find; check it out.

Rosamond is a tiny little area and having a GO TO place is so great. Karl’s is that place. Of course all your average hardware needs are found here, but it has quirky home things too… candles, picnic supplies, flags, umbrellas, guns, dog bowls and leashes… I mean you name it… and if you can think of it, they have got it. Plumbing supplies, lumber and a nursery included here. And what’s neat is if you see something in the catalog it can get ordered. If you order wood, they can deliver. if you need rentals, they got ‘em. Steve Justice was certainly right calling it a gem… everyone in the area knows of Karl’s…it isn’t uncommon to run into your neighbor here as well.

Like Karl’s hardware, they are always helpful but not always very experienced with their recommendations and they are somewhat expensive and the parking lot is horrid to park, alot of times you are forced to park on the street when they are busy, they need a bigger parking lot for the amount of business they do but they are good in a pinch to get what you need, if I am not in a hurry for anything I would certainly choose another hardware store and not Karl’s, plus I don’t like the way they jump all over you to help when you walk in the door, sometimes I just like to browse around and look for the items on my own and this kind of service sometimes makes me want to avoid this store I would only recommend this store when you need something quickly

Carl’s hardware is little gem in Rosamond. There are always lots of employees to help you out. Plus they have heavy equipment to rent, a nice nursery, and of course guns and ammo. They do have a slumber department down the street and they will deliver lumber to you. This place is so convenient instead of driving to the big number stores in the valley. Great local hardware store. They have a little bit of everything and a whole lot of friendly folks to help you find what you need. The rental center is right next door too. Special orders have always been no problem with prompt delivery. If all this wasn’t enough they have ammo and a gun room! Don’t drive to town till you visit or at least call Karl’s in Rosamond.

Love our home town hardware store. A bit more expensive than the big ones, but it is worth it eith the service you get and you save on gas! Go say hi to Tom in the rental area… he is the best!

No need to drive to Lancaster or Palmdale for your hardware needs because Karl’s has what the big box stores have and it is a lot closer to home. An added bonus is they have superb customer service.

Karls is awesome.
When my parents come out to visit each year form Georgia, they make a special trip there just because they have a cord for a coffee pot they can’t find anywhere else. And that’s the kind of place Karl’s is.
Its a bit higher in price, but hey, it ain’t a big orange box. Plus, it saves time and gas going down to Lancaster and having your car broken into by illegals in the parking lot.
Hit up Karls. You wont be disappointed.

I am impressed with the stock on hand here, on top of that not just the guys know what they are doing there but the ladies too. Not exactly what I am used to going to home depot or lowes. The girl behind the counter even had knowledge of size of electrical wire and amperage rating. I am a contractor that does everything electrical and mechanical, plus into turn key construction. This is my 1st choice in the area.
Yes they have some room for improvement, but who doesn’t. I think it is about as good as it gets. You don’t get ignored and employees run from you like Home Depot Lancaster. On top of it everyone knows what they have in their store and has a gun store as a bonus in the back.

What ever you need, Karl’s has it in the back.
Full equipment rental center and nursery on the side. Fantastic and friendly down-​home hardware store like they used to be. It’s a TruValue so mail-​fliers have national specials.
I’ve been going here for 20 years and I’ve rarely been able to stump them with my «Have you got any of these?» requests :)

They have the wierd thingamabob you need: Walk into Karl’s with a funny screw and someone will show you the nut you need. The service is great — they know what they’re talking about. The rental prices are reasonable. Definitely the place to go when you have questions about something or only need 5 nails to finish a project. My husband loves their gun section. You decide — 45 minutes in Home Depot or 60 seconds in Karl’s.
