In the small town of Roscoe, NY. As you wonder the main strip you will find a couple of spots to get some food. Casey’s Place is great to grab something to-go or to sit down and enjoy the local view.

Great sandwich place(assuming you can find the enterence). One word of advise — SHARE a sandwich. Even for a big appitite like mine, it was more than filling. Service was also great. Will certainly stop by again if I am ever in the area.

This restaurant is an excellent addition to the sleepy Roscoe dining scene. The sandwiches are excellent and the staff is friendly. One sub is enough for 2 people so it is an excellent value for the money.

We were driving along route 17 and needed to stop for lunch. No Wendy’s within a reasonable drive(our usual road trip joint) so we get off at Roscoe. Apparently the Roscoe Diner is a big deal, but we blew past that to head to main st. We saw this little deli and figured, «what the heck.» My friends, it was one of the most serendipitous moments of my life. The place is pretty unassuming, but don’t judge a book by its cover. My wife got the italian sub, and I opted for the pastrami sandwich. Oh that sandwich. Each bite of it was magic in my mouth. My wife and I usually go halfsies on sandwiches, and I seriously considered denying her the 2nd half of that glorious sandwich. Her italian sub was damn good, but I still dream about that pastrami sandwich. Please, do yourself a favor, stop here for lunch, and get that pastrami sandwich! Eat the whole thing! Don’t make the same mistake I did!

My cousin Danielle had her wedding and reception at Tennanah Lake Golf & Tennis Club in 2013. We all had a phenomenal time! The food was fantastic-great hors d’oeuvres and great selections on the open wine/beer during the cocktail hour prior to dinner, and the buffet dinner was delicious-as much as buffets seem easy(there’s a variety, so everyone can pick whatever), they do not usually get as many compliments as this one did. Everyone raved about the food, which was catered by Casey. Fast forward less than a year, and Casey now has her own restaurant right on Roscoe’s Stewart Ave. I heard from lots of people that the food is awesome, and I wasn’t disappointed. I ordered the BKF monster since I missed breakfast and at 2pm, I was starving. HUGE!!! It had all my favorites-2 eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, tomatoes, fried onions, & cheese on a hard roll for only $ 4.95. I had to smush the sandwich in order to fit it in my mouth! The décor was really cute-theme was the old fashioned coke. I spoke to the cashier, who had served our table at the wedding, and she told me how Casey had booked several weddings for this year. When the clients found out that she was no longer there, they were less than pleased, but it was cool to hear that one of the couples were having her cater their rehearsal dinner. Anyway, in order to properly review Casey’s, I felt it necessary to order something to go for dinner and settled on The Catskill, which is a grilled chicken breast, mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onions on a hard roll, which is $ 6.95. This sandwich was incredible-great combination of ingredients. The sandwich came with a bag of chips and a dill pickle. Upon leaving, I peered into the deli case and spotted peach bread pudding. Again-had to try it, especially for such large quantity(&only $ 3!). Later, my grandparents and I devoured the container. Please give Casey’s a try-they are open 7am-4pm usually Monday-Saturday, Thursday is until 6pm. And they also cater, which is probably a value considering the pricing of the regular menu.

Shared a tallman stacker sub withy hubby. Was really good. Tasted like a sub used to. With ham, turkey, pepperoni, provolone, lettuce, tomato and onion with mayo and oil and vinegar. One sandwich was enough to share and came with chips for $ 8 bucks!
