Dollar General Store

I haven’t been to DG much over the years, leaving it to my wife to shop the bargains. The few times I’ve been with her, we uncovered some real bargains, primarily from Christmas lights to laundry and cleaning products. Some of the off brand products are far better than the name brands. Case in point, the «handiwipes», off brand, are reusable. You can launder them and they don’t fall apart. From time to time, real bargains in laundry and dish soaps are available. Some housewares are good values, also.
A lot of the stuff is not so great, but there are enough hidden values if you are a smart shopper.
The store staff is helpful and pleasant. Located off Elevator Rd. in the strip mall with the Sabrosa restaurant near by.
