We stopped in after Prohibition Distillery just to check out the place, since we’re not big beer drinkers. After reading a little about the selections, we decided to try a flight and ended up loving almost everything we tried! The Winter Ale was phenomenal, and we bought a growler to bring back with us(which says a lot from two non-beer drinkers). The atmosphere was pretty cozy and welcoming too — think leather club chairs facing the fire place. The center of the brewery features a large fish tank with trout, and they even showed us the three trout they had raised that were being released to the wild that afternoon. These are the kinds of people and businesses I love to support. We will be back!

Stopped in with two buddy’s on a Saturday around noon. The bartender was throughly informative and a extremely helpful when we decided what beers to get for a flight. Enjoyed a nice conversation even when other customers came in as we discussed the beer that we were drinking. Walked out with 2 big growlers and a half size. Will definitely be back for more!

Very friendly staff and a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. The beers I tried were ok and I would have liked to have tried a few more as they were different than I expected they would be – not as assertively flavored as some. A big plus for me is a comfortable seating area near a fireplace for those who prefer not to sit at the bar.

We walked in 10 minutes before closing and walked out 30 minutes later. The man that served us was very friendly and helpful. The beer was a little milder in flavor than I like, but that could be great for someone who doesn’t prefer a really strong beer. The interior had a nice setup with the big fish tank and seating areas. I would recommend trying this place if you are in the area.

What a beautiful place to visit and sample some wonderful beer! The staff could not have been any nicer. They offer flights, pints, and fill growlers. Walked out w/some Trout Town Rainbow Red Ale in my growler. We look forward to returning and enjoying the Trout Fish Tank in the middle of the space, what a beautiful addition to the space.

We stopped in on a weekend night– there were a few people seated at bar and table. A big fish tank with trout in the center, merchandise on the left. Not knowing much about the beer, was curious to try it. We approached the bar, bartender just looked at us. We asked about the beer selection, he acted as if we were interrupting him and rudely answered us as if we were imposing. Based on the rude(un)welcoming staff, we left and don’t plan to be back. Do not recommend.

I would have to say this was my worst brewery experience ever! I have been to over 20 breweries throughout the east coast and enjoy sampling and buying merchandise from each one. While vacationing I made a special trip to stop in and I found the staff to be rude, and they could not accommodate multiple groups of people at a time. Not worth the trip, time or money.

The staff was great. Very knowledgeable and warm to us when we arrived. The environment and décor is fabulous. It looks like a comfortable place to relax. The samplers are a great idea so you know what you want.

Roscoe Beer Co. appears fixated on the ales currently. Red, Amber, and American are their current offerings. Not to hop on the bandwagon, but where’s the IPA? The red ale is as close as you come, but without the bite of an IPA. It tastes flat/smooth, but goes down easy and has a nice ABV. Their marketing partnership with Prohibition Distillery is gold. They’re the royal couple of Roscoe drinking. I think the brewery customers tend local while the distillery customers are from a wider region. All can agree craft-booze is alive and well in Roscoe, NY!

This is a review of their«Trout Town American Amber»: delicious, crisp and sweet with a hoppy kick at the end. Refreshing and flavorful. I highly suggest fans of medium-bodied reds and ambers try it, where available.
