Jimmy John’s

Awesome food, and would eat more often but the delivery rules are ridiculous. I live less than a mile away and was told they cannot deliver. For a business that advertises delivery should rethink there strategy to fully satisfy the public and generate more business. I would pay more for delivery if they expanded the area of service.

This place is fast, and so much better than Subway. Just tell them you want a sandwich and you get it. No dealing with indecisive people in line, or needing to answer a bunch of questions. Just get a great tasting sandwich and be done with it.

Considering Roseburg has about 10 subways shops– we didn’t need another one! If you ARE going to open a subway type sandwich shop here– it needs to be way better than subway– but this place is 10 times worse! Probable the worst sandwich I’ve ever had– really pathetic! What a disappointment!!! Would really give it zero stars!

I’d like to address a few things. This is a franchise and the delivery area was mapped out by the corporate office. When a call for delivery comes up if it’s not in the delivery zone it will tell you that and if the order is filled and delivered it goes to the corporate office and the business has to explain why they delivered outside the delivery area. They can be penalized for doing so. After a year they will come out and survey the area again and may widen the delivery area. This business has helped the community by employing 30 people! They have also celebrated veterans, current military, police, firefighters and all first responders with 1.00 sub days! They have donated to many charities in the area also. I think the owners should be applauded for being a great sponsor of the whole city of Roseburg. You are doing a fantastic job Jimmy John’s keep up the good work! The sandwiches are fresh and taste great due to the quality of the ingredients! Ok people support your local businesses so the city will continue to thrive and grow to make our community as awesome as possible!

I would like to give these guys a 5 star rating, but because of their cooperate rules, they are unable to drive the five miles or less to our house for delivery! It seems to me that if a business sets up shop in a fairly small town, they should be able to deliver within the city limits… and the employees shouldn’t get in trouble because they are trying to accommodate potential customers!
With that said, the local establishment employs a very friendly staff, and the food is good! It’s a lot of food, so bring your appetite! It is kind of cramped in the restaurant, but it works!
I hope «corporate» will recognize how ridonkulous it is to have a small delivery zone in a small town!

I don’t understand the buzz. I’ve given this place two tries now. If you are veggie you have the choice of two items… and can’t tell them apart except for price. Hope you love piles of shredded iceburg lettuce, a giant boring bun, and some sauce that once had dreams of being avocado and standard blah mayo. Yawn!!! Ok, yep it was fast… hope I’m not forced to experience it again. Nothing great. Nothing gourmet here!

Fastest damn sandwich I’ve ever seen. Got the BLT with all the Freebies, yes, it was great! Next, my drink, what… crushed ice and cherry Pepsi! On to the chips, compared Thinny’s and regular chips cause I wanted to see if there really was a difference, and yes there is a difference! I recommend this Jimmy John’s, it was so clean, and so fresh, fast and friendly!

Some basic tips to help you navigate the menu for first timers. There are 3 groups of sandwiches Slims which are just meat (sometimes cheese) and bread. Sub sandwiches which are basic sandwiches with a single portion of meat (one kind of meat). Lastly there are club sandwiches which are the bigger sandwiches of the 3(they will have 2 portions of meat or cheese sometimes different kinds of meat or double the portion). There are different bread types lettuce wrap (un-​wich) wheat (seven grain) and French bread which all sandwiches start on. Hopefully this helps on some the confusion and maybe helps costumers understand the menu. Delivery range is also limited because of bike delivery (not meaning there are not car delivers drives just keep that in mind)

Also I do eat there nearly everyday and it is good quality food for a decent price.

You know those places that come outta the gate swinging but lose steam very quickly? Yep… That’s this place. I came and ordered a country club sandwich and it was awesome my first visit. Plenty of meat, and «tons» of lettuce as advertised on the description. Fast forward to my next visit (today) where I placed the exact same order… My sandwich was HALF as full as my previous visit! My daughters Vito sandwich was thicker and she didn’t have the «double meat» side. Now I asked one one of the 8 employees about why I didn’t get the same quality sandwich and they acted like I was an idiot and asked to see my sandwich. I said this isn’t double meat. She said well there’s two types of meat so that’s why it’s double. WHAT?! Uhh no, double meat means I paid more for my sandwich to have more meat than the cheaper sandwiches and where was my «tons» of lettuce??? Definitely NOT on my sandwich. Not coming back. I miss schlotskys…

An inexpensive, fresh and relatively healthy alternative to McDonalds, Subway and other fast food restaurants! The menu is pretty simple; they seem to concentrate on quality rather large numbers of choices. The service is friendly and prompt. I this we’ll come here often in the future!

It’s basically a subway, which is not a bad thing if you like sandwiches! Very good sandwiches, service was great. Staff was friendly. The only reason i didn’t give it the full five stars is because of how small and very seating there was.

What a bunch of nonsense, tried to get a sandwich delivered and they can’t deliver 2 miles from the store. I usually don’t have any issues with Jimmy John’s wherever I travel… I’ll think twice about using their service in the future… unless you’re next door forget delivery!

Great service, and food tastes great. Made really quick and it looks great. Got lots of help from everyone when I didnt know what to order.

The location is small and feels awkward when you walk in, but the friendly staff makes you feel welcomed.
After walking into the shop, you immediately smell the food. The olfactory alone gets your taste buds ramped up. Once your order is in, it’s only a matter of time before you are served.
As for the food, it’s top notch. My sandwich (number nine, Italian) was incredibly delicious. I’m looking forward to retuning sometime soon and trying Jimmy John’s other options.
One drawback is the parking. It is in a lot along a plaza that shares spaces with several other businesses. Fortunately a few are closed, so the parking will not be too bad, for now.
If business picks up the way I’m sure it will, then parking will be an issue. I suggest utilizing the Albertson’s parking lot if that is the case.
