Diverse and welcoming congregation that genuinely tries to walk the talk. I’ve been to a number of mosques in the Baltimore-D.C. area; Bait-​us-​Samad is new, but is already one of the best, imho. Intimate without being cliqueish, and provides great facilities for women upstairs.
If you’re in the area, drop by Friday prayer services at 1:30 p. m for a rejuvenating sermon on Muslim American issues from the true spirit of jihad to the importance of patriotism. Open to everyone.

Bel Air, MD
Nice place to meet friendly members of the local Muslim Community. They are receptive to people of any background or faith, or even those who are just curious to learn more about Islam. On Friday’s, they have an open house at 2 p.m. where you can meet and get a free tour of the mosque, as well as some cool freebies.
