We had a delicious experience here on a weekday afternoon. The crab cakes were full of meat with minimal filler. Try the Italian spinach, you won’t be disappointed. We had excellent service from Darla who was attentive and conscientious.

Went in for triva night but the seats are very limited. Since it was full we decided to just eat in the dining area. Food was really good. Try the wings you will love them.

Stopped in for a quick beer and a snack. The beer was good and the staff was friendly. However, I simply ordered the chips and salsa and the salsa was horrible. Worst I’ve ever tasted. I will probably try again, but will avoid the salsa.

Went there for a Friday night meal on 9÷25÷15. Having eaten there before I didnt think twice. Well, to begin with the waitress never cracked a smile and had an attitude. The service was horrible. My son ordered a ham and cheese sandwich which was served all by itself on a dinner platter. No lettuce on the side, chips, or even a picke. It got lost on the plate and looked they had taken it from under the warmer by the register across the street and the 7⁄11 store. My «deluxe chesapeake hamburger» was dry, overcooked and no doubt was a frozen burger. We order cream of crab soup. Cold!!! Not even warm. Sorry Ms waitress had to bother you. Just go roll your eyes~~. I talked to the manager who said the waitress already ran our credit card so couldnt give me the(10%) !!! Give me a break. 10%??? She offered us a drink. Nnot going back.

We eat here several times a year and have normally had a reasonably good dining experience. However, this time I ordered the Beer Battered Rockfish Basket. What a mistake! The several strips of «rockfish» that I got was all batter and very, very little fish. In addition the fish tasted much more like cod than rockfish. Won’t be getting this ever again. I must say though that my wife got a crab cake and was very happy with it. I’ll give this restaurant one more try before I cross it off my list of casual dining restaurants.

I go here occasionally with my brother because he likes it. Last night I ordered some fried green beans as a treat before our meals. YUCK. They could have been fried cardboard. I mentioned to the waitress that the green beans didn’t taste fresh– she told me they come as an already made frozen item. $ 6.50 for that? I usually like the shrimp salad but this time it was way too full of mayonnaise and no flavor. Disappointed!

g/f’s brother and his g/f were in town, and since it’s within walking distance, we decided to go there. I ordered a crap beer, miller lite, just to pass the time. However, it was flat, no carbonation at all. The worse part, it was warm. The bartender was out in the hightable area, taking shots with some of its regulars. Not coming back here again.

The food is always good! The menu has a great variety. I usually sit on the bar side and the service is awesome.

So terrible! I don’t know what has changed since the last time we had been here(easily two or three years ago), but it is not an improvement. We ordered an appetizer and three entrees. Our fried pickle slices were nice and piping hot, but that’s about where the pleasant experience ended. The ranch dressing served with it was warm(gross!). I was trying to not let it bother me that our waitress neglected to bring us additional napkins after we asked three times(in addition to her«forgetting» that I asked for no ice in my soda). When our entrees came, we were wholly unimpressed. Ignoring the fact that the dining room was mostly empty and everyone else there had already been served their meals, it took about 25 minutes for us to get our food. My burger was lukewarm at best, my bun was stale, and the cheese and crab dip on my burger was not even melted. Another in my party ordered a steak, medium, with a baked potato. It came out mildly cold, cooked well, and the baked potato was room temperature. The other in my party had the hot turkey platter, and the only thing hot about it was the gravy. The turkey was cold under the gloopy layer of gravy, and the toast wasn’t actually toasted, just bread. The accompanying potato salad, like the baked potato, was room temperature. Our server did not check back on us until we were nearly finished eating – when she finally brought our extra napkins(gee, thanks), and it was too late to complain. We just wanted to leave! In addition, another table in the dining room – who seemed to not be eating – were very loud and raucous. No one went to them to ask them to control their behavior, which was very inappropriate and vulgar. Overall, if I could give O.P.I. zero stars, I would.

Absolutely horrible!!! Ordered a ahi tuna salad which was nothing but iceberg with the worst grade of tuna chunks thrown on top. Obviously did not eat it. The Shepard pie tasted like taco meat topped with frozen mashed potatoes and most disappointing was the crab pretzel that was all cream cheese. Not one piece of crabmeat. Will never return

We came because we’d never been and my husband pointed out that some of the less desirable reviews had been from previous years. I was incredibly, terribly disappointed when it came to this restaurant. My first indication should have been when on a Saturday night at 7:30 that this place was as dead as a door nail. I ordered the country fried steak and my husband the shrimp salad. Mine came with two sides and I chose salad and mashed potatoes. He chose potato salad. He also ordered cream of crab soup. My salad was warm, as was the dressing. It was literally a ton of iceberg lettuce with 2 grape tomatoes and 2 cucumbers. His soup was cold and bland. His shrimp salad wasn’t terrible, they could have toasted his kaiser roll, but otherwise it was ok. His potato salad was, you guessed it, warm. Too bad, because the flavor had potential. I received a massive plate of white pepper gravy that tasted like chalk. The steak beneath was actually crispy and cooked perfectly, but unfortunately I sent it back. I couldn’t get past the nasty gravy. By this point, my husband had already finished his sandwich, so I made due with just ordering dessert. The apple pie was more of a tart, but it was the best thing I had there. It wasn’t enough to drive me here in and of itself, but it saved the place from a 1 star. Our server was very apologetic, and admitted that she’d never had the gravy herself. After tasting it, she agreed that it left much to be desired. It seems like this place has been around for many many years and has a following of older locals. I think a revamp of the menu and a new chef could do it wonders. The inside décor isn’t snazzy but it also has potential.

Good wings! The crab pretzel is amazing, too. The servers seem a little inexperienced but it’s fine.

Went there yesterday evening with my gf. Didn’t feel like anything real big. She had a bowl of the Maryland Crab Soup and I had the blackened Ahi Tuna Salad. Not a big fan of Iceberg Lettuce but it was still tasty. Disappointed that they don’t serve any Non-Alcoholic beer Friendly Atmosphere with plenty of TV’s to watch O’s Game! :)

This place is great. If you are looking for a traditional Baltimore local restaurant, this is it! A little bit of everything on the menu, nightly food specials, and(for the most part) a great staff. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it five stars: a few of the employees have that typical server/bartender«chip» on their shoulder. Kim, Michelle, and Chris behind the bar are great! Very friendly and attentive. The food is awesome. Very well priced and good size portions. Crab cake and both crab soups are fantastic. Even something as simple as chicken salad is the best around!

Love this place! Good fun staff. Great trivia on Tuesdays, and such a large menu you can try anything! The wings are delicious! Only things are food can come out pretty slow and I’d love if they replaced the b n b pickles with dill, but these things wont keep us away.

If you’re looking for a classic Baltimore family restaurant OPI is your place. They have all the standard Baltimore dishes done really well and in a comfortable atmosphere. If you’re looking for a swanky outing, then go somewhere else. But if you’re looking for huge portions of quality food with great service this is the place. Really cozy and comfortable and the remodel they did some time ago made the place look awesome.

I love local non chain restaurants. This place was awesome! A friend and I went one day after work. We ended up splitting a seafood club and the crab pretzel. Both were amazing! Our bill was cheap! I’ll be going back.

Went a few weeks ago when my boyfriend & I were driving around. Apparently he’d been here before several years ago & decided to try it again. He ordered a crab cake(it’s a habit for him, what can I say?) and he was VERY happy with it. Said it was one of the better/best ones he has had in a long time. I ordered the chicken parmesan, which was interesting. It should be called chicken NUGGET parmesan, because that’s really what it is. Chunks of breaded/fried chicken over penne pasta, served in a little«boat» on a plate with garlic bread. The chicken and garlic bread were good, the sauce was the right amount, and the cheese was a little on the light side. The downside was the pasta itself. It was completely bland, so I don’t think they seasoned the water at all. On the plus side, it was al dente. Monty was our server — young, energetic, friendly, and mostly attentive. I did have to ask someone else for our check when I couldn’t get his attention. I would recommend this place to someone if they were looking for a little spot to check out in the Rosedale area. I can’t speak for the other food items on the menu, but I will be sure to try something else the next time I go. My boyfriend — the sports nut — has to be by the tv’s, so we sat at a high-top in the bar area. If you need to keep an eye on the screens, I recommend NOT sitting at one of the regular tables. The location itself is in a Mars shopping center, and the entrance to the restaurant is at the end of this long wall and tucked under the canopy area, so keep an eye out for the door.

On Saturday December 8th, I Had a nice meal which consisted of a salad, Flat iron steak and mashed potatoes with a Sam Adams draft beer. Ate only half of my mashed potatoes since they came out of a box. I prefer real mashed potatoes, not the ones that come out of a box. Split a great tasting banana dessert with one of my good friends and buddies.

Upon first entering it was very dark and hardly anyone was there. A few old people. It was kind of depressing. The owner was nice, and other staff members seemed very friendly and helpful to customers but our waitress seemed to not be in the mood to be that way which brought down the overall experience. Instead of putting us in the dining area they sit us right next to the kitchen and bathrooms near the bar… ew! They should have asked us where we wanted to sit with a near empty restaurant. Service was quick since we were litterally right where the kitchen was, but like I said our waitress didn’t seem very helpful, just wanted to sling out the food as soon as possible and get us out. My Raspberry iced tea was very watered down. As far as the food, it was fantastic. I ordered the penne pasta with shrimp. There were a lot of shrimp although small. They had a great spiciness to them too. The pasta portion size was huge and had a ton of cheese on it. The dish also come with a good sized Caesar salad which was delicious and two big slices of garlic bread which tasted amazing. I was so stuffed by the end of the meal, anywhere else and you’d have to order more than just your main dish. it ended up being $ 21 with my drink and tip which considering how much food I got both in portion size and sides was a great deal All pasta dishes have this same deal so if you eat here go for the pasta! Overall… The positive… fantastic food, portion size, and price. The negative… poor seating, drinks, and customer service if you don’t get one of the nicer people that work there. Could have been a 5 star rating, but suffered a 2 star loss from the negatives in which I hold as important. I’ll still come back for the food without a doubt, but I’d probably advise carryout instead.
