The live entertainment on Friday nights is pretty good! As for the food, I have had a Cajun chicken wrap, it was very tasty but I wasn’t crazy about the chips since I had asked for sweet potato fries since they were out of regular fries but also out of sweet potato fries. The Long Island iced teas are Fantastic! It’s a great place to have a snack, few drinks and socialize. The owners are pretty cool!

Friendly neighborhood bar, with a great vibe. Had the french onion soup, the fish & chips, the shrimp, and a couple other things off the menu. Everything I tasted was more than good. Good customer service and they pour a great Guinness.

This spot is the best. Kinda small but normally can get a seat. Mark is great. Very funny and attentive to his customers. The food is superb. I have eaten probably ten different things off of the menu and have zero complaints. There is usually entertainment on the weekend nights. Try not to sit by the front door if there’s entertainment. There is a municipal parking lot right around the corner so parking is not a problem. Probably one of the best bars in Union County.

Stopped in for a bite and a pint while waiting for baseball practice to end. Bartender was attentive and introduced himself(Mark) and asked my name right away. Poured a beautiful pint of Guinness, which hit the spot. Next up I tried the reuben sandwich, which is open faced on a couple slices of rye. Corned beef was fantastic. Mark said it is made fresh in house. Was really much better than corned beef found in most places. Homemade chips were also very good. This is looking to be my new escape from baseball each week.

Went for my birthday with family. The reuben roll ups for an app were great. Corned beef was delicious and the burgers were huge and juicy. Shepherds pie was a little dry but still ok. Owner came to our table at least 5 times and gave us a round of shots on the house for my birthday. Will definately be going back.

My first time since the change from Mulligans… Great beer options and a great food menu. I started with the chicken fingers and they were the best I ever had… You only get 3 but it’s fresh for sure. My only complaint is the honey mustard. they use yellow mustard and I really prefer the spicy brown mustard… but it was still good. I also had a bacon cheeseburger and it was one of the best burgers I ever had. ranks in the top 5 for sure. Great bread and fresh ground beef. Really really juicy and delicious!!!

Excellent corned beef with cabbage. The homemade corned beef is juicy and flavorful and cabbage and real mashed potatoes are tasty and fresh. The shepherds pie was very good, as were French onion soup(rich and tasty broth) and Caesar salad with homemade croutons. Owner Mark is great!!! Will definitely be back again and again.

Gotta have the RubenRolls. It’s just like an eggroll took a trip to Ireland. Potato poppers, like a Jalepeneo popper went Ireland.

Came here for a few drinks and appetizers. The onion rings are really great here. The buffalo wings are alright(huge though). The staff however is overly friendly and nice, which was very nice of them. The prices are also decent here. A little loud inside so it’s tough to talk sometimes. Would definitely return.

Staff is really friendly and the prices are good. The burger was excellent! It’s great to have a good place in the neighborhood that isn’t filled with annoying drunks looking for a fight… So needless to say, this place is leaps and bounds an improvement over Mulligans. Recommended!

New neighborhood bar, super friendly owners, clean, inviting and comfortable. Very diverse pub menu and the food is plentiful and delicious. Sampled the potato soup which was piping hot and so flavorful. Burgers are hand made and huge! Hand cut freshly made chips. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to watch some football there with friends…

This new Irish bar took over mulligans, the atmosphere is lighter than it previously was. The drinks are cheap, the food is a little pricey, especially in comparison to mulligans menu. The menu basically mimics molly McGuire’s, but not as good. I’ve had the shepherds pie, it was okay but not fantastic, the Reuben was good in terms of the corned beef, which is homemade, but the bread was like wonder bread and soaked, for $ 14, it wasn’t worth it. I would go there again, but I would eat prior. The crowd is different, the owners’ friends and following have it pretty lively and the pool table is gone. Overall it’s a nice place to hangout for locals.

Brand new, and these guys look like they’re amping up for a great time! Located where Mulligan’s Pub used to be, Dowling’s is another new Roselle Park venture the locals are embracing with open arms. I went on the second night they were open, and the place was packed! I’m sure the excitement will die down and regulars will settle in to their routine, but I have hope for this place. A little bit on the more expensive side — it was ten bucks for a Blue Moon draught and Budweiser bottle. I do look forward to trying their food, though. I am a sucker for Irish fare. 5 stars for the excitement! We’ll see if that changes in the future, once they settle in.
