Here’s useful info. No clowning this time. Action Lock has done all the work at our house over time. I finally got around to having new pass-​through handsets (door nobs) installed upstairs. Andy the owner asked me to look at how the bolts were seated. Would the doors need any chiseling out? Or were the mounts simple? Stupid me. I only looked at the two bathroom doors. The six other doors WOULD require chiseling. Vince and AJ showed up to do what should have been a 30 minute job. It took closer to two hours. They had every right to adjust the estimate upward. They didn’t. I asked them to let me pay more. They were firm. No, it’s not necessary. Vince is an artist with a chisel and razor blade. These were not cheap pine doors. And there was zero room for error. He had to hit hard – but with finesse. Feeling his way with each door. The work is flawless.
