Had a great experience with this company for firewood. When I called to inquire about pricing etc. they were very knowledgeable and clear. When I called back to order, they were efficient, professional, and quick — easily worked around my schedule for delivery. They arrived exactly as planned and stacked the wood beautifully. We got what we ordered at a fair price — a facecord of mixed hardwood plus an extra rick of oak. Wood looks well seasoned and so far burns well. We will definitely order from them next time we need wood again

Highly recommended! I have been ordering firewood from A G Vangundy for years. I live in the city and they come and deliver the firewood and stack it perfectly in my backyard. I had a firewood delivery scheduled for today. I am having a party tomorrow (outdoors) and someone suggested I put hay down on my front yard so no one gets muddy. I emailed Vangundy last night and asked if they had hay and could they put it on the truck to deliver today with the firewood. The owner called me to let me know he did not have hay, but he offered to go down the street from his place and pick up 3 bales of hay for me and deliver them today. They just delivered the firewood and the hay. Such wonderful customer service!!!

I felt a need to amend my review based on the second order I placed with them. Everything with the order went perfectly well, but less than 2 hours after my order was delivered, I recieve an email offer from AG VanGundy for $ 5 off my next delivery. I figured since I had a delivery that same morning, I’d call them to try to get the coupon applied. They wouldn’t consider it, and said the offer was only good towards the next delivery, explaining that the purpose of the promotion was to get people to come back and order again. I get that, but in the interest of customer service, I would think they could have made an exception. I guess in my case the whole promotion backfired. Not that the $ 5 is a big deal at the end of the day, but it’s just the principle of the thing.
