Cinde’s Salon

Had my makeup done here for my sister-in-law’s wedding. They did a great job and the price of $ 35 for full face make up is a great deal. The person who did my make up followed exactly what I asked for and I was very pleased with the results. I’ll definitely be back for any make up needs.

I first went to Cinde’s Salon with a Groupon. I was scheduled with Heather who turned out to be a really good stylist. She gave me a great cut, a deep brunette color and just a few highlights. It was a perfect look for me and I have been going to her ever since. I found the prices at Cinde’s to be quite competitive and the staff are warm and welcoming. I recommend this salon.

Dont go here. WAYYYYYYY overpriced. Regardless of being overpriced for years, I stayed with them because I thought they were good. So I used to go here for years and then I came in one day and none of the usual stylists were available. So there was this new guy stylist who apparently everyone was ranting and raving how amazing he was, was available. Well he had bleach blonde hair so I thought, well maybe hes good with blondes. My hair was like a autumn brown red and I wanted to go blonde…
No problem he says…
After getting done with the dye and the wash. I see my hair.
And its like ORANGE. Not golden blonde. Freaking orange.
And I am like oh my god please fix this and hes like oh no problem. He puts one toner on. Still looks terrible. Then he tries to convince me that it looks so good and it fits my face and all this crap. He kept saying it and two other stylists came over and said yes it looks good and then I was thinking that maybe I was just not use to it and it probably looks fine. But when I got home… My whole family is completely mortified. They thought it looked orange. WE HAD A WEDDING TO GO TO THE NEXT DAY!
So I call them and say hey you have to fix this and they said they were too busy but come back in tomorrow. So I do. They put one more toner on. Never gets fixed and they refused to put anymore color in my hair because they said it got so fried that it might start falling out. I had orange hair for a family friend’s wedding.
Gigi the owner has been doing my mom’s hair for years… well not anymore but that’s a whole different story. And she saw the mess of the hair and she just kind of just shrugged her shoulders.
And. The WORST PART OF ALL…
They charged me 130 for a botched dye job. Then… tried to charge me another 30 when I came back in the next day and all they did was put another toner in it. I ended up paying them 150 bucks (we settled to 20 for the toner) to dye my hair orange. Thanks.
I ended up using a box color brown to fix it two weeks later because I couldn’t take people staring at me anymore.
Stylists at that salon don’t care about their clients. Just terrible. I started going to Mia’s Salon in Bartlett and I haven’t looked back.

Been a long time customer of Cinde’s. Michelle knows just what to do with my curly hair!!! They just remodeled this year, so the salon looks FANTASTIC!
They also have the new fabulous product by Creative Nail Design, Shellac for your nails. Made my natural nails nice and sturdy.
