Came here to eat on Monday to watch the game. Food here is pretty good as a second choice to boiling crab. Not crowded when I came. Servers were very nice.

Don’t wait in long lines for boiling crab! This place is legit and has great wifi. Crawfish and shrimp is the way to go. The phở here is really good too!

I like this place, they have a little bit of everything for everyone who wants to enjoy Louisiana style crawfish or Vietnamese cuisine. Despite all the negative reviews. I enjoy their food, I ordered the #30 chicken with rice, and 1lb whole shrimp(all the medley), it was quite delicious! Their shrimp were pretty big and meaty unlike boiling shrimp(soft and mushy). The service was good, and what I really like is the ambiance is mellow and low key. They don’t get heavy traffic oppose o boiling crab, and other spots around San Garbiel area. However, it hits the spot if you’re craving for Louisiana style seafood! I will definitely be returning!

Golden Deli and Saigon Eden ain’t got nothing on this place!!! Mom ACTUALLY digged this place!!! It was the best Phở Tai Nam Sach that she have had lately, woohoo!!! :D. For $ 7.00 — size small bowl — she digged it!!! The broth was delicious, seasoned perfectly, and stayed hot throughout the meal. Best of all, the meats were plentiful, and super tender. She was disappointed that Golden Deli skimped on the tendons, the ribeye steak there was too tough and way too much noodles was in there. She also proclaimed that Phở Boga’s ribeye steaks were tender and softer than Saigon Eden’s Phở Kobe beef(they started skimping too). Me: Shredded Chicken Phở Ga — Large size $ 8.00. Generous amount of shredded chicken pieces, and the noodles were the right amount. My favorite was the broth — it was crystal clear, not fatty, and seasoned perfectly — not too sweet or overly salty. It was so good — I almost drank up the entire broth, lol!!! For a rainy Friday, our phos were crazy delicious! Who knew, phở in this area was pretty good :) They also serve crawfish, clams and mussels(think if Boiling Crab had a love child with a phở place). Service here is friendly and on point. Would I come back??? Phở sure, lol!!! ;)

Better than Boiling crab. I hate the lines at boiling crab and found this gem from my sister. This place is fusion with Phở and Louisiana seafood. It is the perfect combo to grub.

Both phở and the seafood are really good. We got one bag of crawfish and a spicy beef noodle soup. We are impressed! In addition, great ambiance! This is a huge plus for me because I’d like to enjoy the place as much as the food. Will be back!

Sister in law requested a boiling crab place to celebrate our families eight person birthday celebration on February, but I hated the idea of having to wait so long as a couple of family members(myself included) had toddlers with short attention span nor did I want toddler to go hungry during the long wait. In comes Unilocal to my rescue, loved that this restaurant not only serves boiling crab like seafood but also a pretty extensive vietnamese menu(amazing for thise who cannot eat seafood due to allergy or for toddlers who cannot handle spice) Also huge plus that Phở Boga accepts reservations. We booked reservations for our huge family dinner, for as big as our party was, everyone was satisfied. I’ll speak purely for what my table of 8 ordered(we were split into different tables to accomodate our party of 29): Phở tai– the noodles were over cooked and mushy. phở ga with drumstick– my cousin enjoyed it. 2 pounds of clams– mild spice was still a bit spicy, loved the butteryness, garlicky, and mint leaves. We asked for french bread, so glad we ordered this option cause the bread was so delicious to dip in the sauce. 2 pound of shrimp-my aunt was surprised how big the shrimp were. fried catfish with sweet potato fries– catfish was moist, came with three medium sized pieces, battered pretty decently. i’ll have to agree with the other Unilocalers the wait time for the food took a long time, but we had 29 people and we were mostly waiting for seafood. To me that meant the cooked the seafood to order. I thought the seafood was worth the wait, our phở dishes came out quickest and i’ve honestly never been to a place where the rice noodles were served to me mushy. Servers were more than accomadating and did their best to serve our family. Looking forward to coming back, this time for the seafood and the loaf of french bread to dip into that amazing sauce.

Wow not bad at all for a phở place serving crawfish and seafood. They do have phở but most people were eating finger food. It’s like boiling crab but had a different taste. We ordered 3 or 4 pounds of shrimp and some crawfish and Cajun fries with lemon pepper fries. They were all good for finger food. Shrimp was good and their sauce is spicy garlic but a little sweet where as boiling crab is spicy and buttery. It still tasted fresh once everything is peeled. The lemon pepper fries are addicting. The sink was easily accessible. The service was good and the best part is there was no wait. I love that they have tv screens so we watched the nba all star weekend. I would come back and this seems like a hidden spot.

Fair size king crab legs, Fresh oysters, so was the Dungeness crabs in the bag. But I can’t keep wondering what they were going to do with that one belly up crab in the tank by the side door. Which is worst?! knowing one of the live ones are gonna be toasted in a second, or knowing I may be the next customer to eat that belly up crab?! Speaking of the customer, where is the customer service when mom is not around… sup kids?! Speaking of kids, what’s up with that music when mom is not around?! … geez! And take that damn Christmas decorations off already, it’s almost freakin’ Halloween. see you guys next weekJ

Business changed their name from All-in-Crab to Phở Boga I decided to give this place a try since Boiling Crab is usually overly packed and it’s also closer to home, sadly it was a bad choice. I should have known when the place was completely empty, but my friend and I still gave them a try. Placed a togo order for: 2 lbs of Clams — All in Medley [no spicy] — $ 22.98 1 Basket of Mussels — $ 4.50 2 Fried Catfish — $ 13.00 12pcs of Sausages -$ 3.49 1 lb of Shrimp –Garlic Butter — $ 10.95 Just to start off this they shorted us 3 pieces of SAUSAGES! The Clams were okay, honestly nothing special. All in Medley is supposed to be like he Whole Shabang @ Boiling Crab. The sauce here was way too oily and in the bag it was mostly shells! Hardly any meat! I just had Boiling Crab the night before and I had 1 lb of Clams and that had way more clams than this one and I ordered 2 lbs! I felt so ripped off. Price comparison is off too. I know its Seasonal pricing, but Boiling Crab charges $ 10/lb and this place charges $ 11.50/lb. ONTOPOFBEINGOVERPRICED, you get RIPPEDOFF. Basket of Mussels came with 6 pieces of mussels and the first piece of mussel was fine, but after having the second piece they didn’t wash it thoroughly so it was all sand! The Mussels went to complete waste. Fried Catfish was pretty good, but it is so similar to the Filet o Fish @ McDonalds… right down to the Tartar sauce. The portion for this was actually worth it, but they forgot to give us Lemon and Salt that we requested. The Sausage you can’t go wrong with that, but they don’t make it themselves. BUTOMGSERIOUSLY you can’t short us!!! The Shrimp was nothing special, no real comments on that. Last words, I just felt that this business is shady from everything. It wasn’t as satisfying, paying more and getting ripped off. Not Worth! Just go to Boiling Crab and don’t waste your time or money here.

FUNGUS Found in Chopsticks, Expired WATER Bottle. 25 min earlier… Place looks super creepy, as soon as you enter and next to the entrance«4 Dungeness Crab» looking like Guantanamo Bay Prisoners. Sat down with my wife ordered me a Northern style Phở, egg roll, Shrimp and Chicken fried rice. Waitress goes we don’t have shrimps, is Chicken ok? I said no. Changed to Beef and vermicelli noodle. Next Table orders off their menu, most sea foods on the menu is sold out. Whatever. Food came out, waitress face looks at the food and us like these fools are really gonna eat this shit. anyways. Egg roll sauce is just plain brown fish sauce, just stinky shitty as hell no flavor, not sweet, just salty. Phở looked like someone just took a dump, and my beef vermicelli? HAhahahahahahhaha. Present… I opened up the chopstick, HOLY shit Green, black, rusty furry looking Mold and funguses. Waitress brought 2 more, same shit!!! Ordered bottle water, obviously not trusting their tap water. water tasted little weird but i was pouring so much Sriracha in my shit, couldn’t really notice, until half way through. Guess what water expired 04÷16÷15. I stopped eating and I just paid and left. dun worry i will be contacting Public health :) My brother is a lawyer and to Unilocal,if take this comment down, my brother will be calling you. To all Unilocalers, DONOTTRY this place.

My wife and I were very pleased to find out about this place. She loves Phở and we both love Cajun shrimp. This place offers both. I know there’s other boiling places in the valley, but this one is just as good and a whole lot cheaper. What impressed me is the service. I was recognized and treated like family when I had a return visit. Now that’s good service.

Phở Boga is a unique phở place. Why? Because it’s a half phở and half a Cajun crawfish place. That’s a really weird combo in my opinion, but I’m actually glad it’s like that. Their Cajun fries are BOMB! You must order this if you come. I love how the fries are skinny(I hate thick fries), theyre spicy and has a lot of flavor. Me and my boyfriend always eat it as an appetizer before our phở. I always get the plain noodle soup that is literally just phở noodles, soup and green onions. It’s only $ 3.50 for a large bowl!!! O. o I’ve never had phở so cheap before ! A lot of phở places that serve plain noodle soup is still around $ 5 – 6. This is the cheapest place to get phở, and it’s not that bad tasting. My boyfriend gets the phở bac, it’s kind of like beef tenderloin. He says it tastes like any other phở place so it’s nothing special. The veggies they give you on the side like the bean sprouts, lime, mint, basil etc are extremely fresh and have a nice green color to them! That is a big plus :) Service is great and they’re super friendly. I usually only give 5 stars to phở restaurants who are vegetarian friendly(have veggie egg rolls, spring rolls and vegetarian phở), so that’s why this place only gets 4 stars. Definitely come here if you’re looking for a cheap place to eat phở though! No other place can beat this price.

This is my favorite place for phở. I usually get the chicken phở, it’s THE best! There’s other selections of phở as well and the usual Vietnamese food. Their curry chicken with a baguette is delicious too. They also serve seafood similar to Boiling Crab. It’s not the best, but it’s good and seems popular. Price is decent, staff is friendly, and there’s always parking. CLOSEDWEDNESDAYS!

Ever have that moment when you and your party is trying to decide on where to go but can not decide? This was the solution to ours lately. Located on the plaza on Garvey and River, it has plenty of parking. Inside is spacious except for the booths(feels a bit cramped). They recently change their hours to open all day and crawfish nightly. We enjoyed com Bo luc lac, phở(beef and chicken), bun rieu and com ga. I do also enjoy soda Xi moui, it’s pretty small for me because I drink it too fast lol. Service is pretty good day and night. The bathroom did look a little run down though. I think they have seen me and bf here so many times, these few weeks.

There is only one reason why I took 1 star off. The cleanliness of the restroom. The urinal and bowl looked like they haven’t been cleaned in days or maybe weeks? The walls and floors were clean however. Anyway lets get to the good stuff. The place is sorta hidden from plain view but It came up on Unilocal so I decided to try it. I had the egg rolls and beef with w/meat balls phở. The food was very well served and very tasty. The meat has a couple nerves but very tasty in comparison to other places. The noodles and soups tasted very fresh. The egg rolls were very fresh as well and were the best ive had in recent months. Will DEFINITELY have again if im around there and hungry.

I come here very often and this place never disappoints. The Phở Bac and Bun Bo Hue are really bomb, and for those prices you’d get ‘em. There are other selections too, but haven’t tried all of them yet. However, those two bowls are ones that I personally love. The restaurant environment is peaceful. They have a couple of giant mounted TV screens, usually displaying sports channels. Very spacious. Oh, and I have I mentioned that they also serve crawfish/seafood here at night? I’ve never tried it before. You can find parking in their parking lot, or you can park on the street. However, street park is only 1 hour on certain time limits. The lady who works at the cashier and also who takes orders recognizes me since I always come here with my parents. We exchange friendly conversations. It’s definitely a great place to sit and eat with your family.

Me and my boyfriend always collided every few days about eating our favorite dishes. He loves to eat Phở all the time and I can eat pounds of shrimp everyday. We never heard of this place until one fated night after driving around at 9pm looking for Phở because I was treating him out. Then I see Phở Boga and thought it’s worth a try. The servers were nice and fast. My boyfriend got a delicious bowl of Phở and egg roll. I got shrimp(All in medley/Medium) and soda chanh. I think this place is just heaven for me and my boyfriend. It allows us not to bicker if I we want to eat our favorite dishes. Two loves in one. An odd combination but just perfect for us.

I’d like to first note that this place shares its location with a restaurant called All-in-Crab(cajun style food) so don’t be confused when you see signs at the door that say«All-in-Crab». Both restaurants have separate hours of operation: Phở Boga opens from 8:30am-5:00pm All-in-Crab opens from 6:00pm-10:00pm Cash only(I was recently told that they now accept credit cards) I ordered: –Phở Tai(beef noodle soup with rare steak): decent soup flavor, the rare steak was similar to the rare steak from Phở Filet(a bit too thick for my preference) –Bun Mang Ga(chicken bamboo noodle soup): decent soup flavor, chicken was on par. –Thai Tea: strong tea flavor, not as creamy, not too sweet. Pros: –The food quality/taste was great and they did not skimp out on the quantity either. –For Phở there are 4 recommended items listed but you can create your own bowl based on meat and noodle size preference. –There were plenty of seats with T.V.‘s all around. –Waiters did their job and service was smooth. –Bonus: there’s a sink near the cash register. Cons: –If you enjoy the traditional Vietnamese restaurant vibe then this definitely isn’t the place. The decorations are designed for the All-in-Crab restaurant so you’ll get more of a fisherman’s pier/Louisianan ambiance. –Normally when you order any type of Phở you’ll get a standard side dish with veggies, lemons, bean sprouts, jalapenos. But here you have to ask the waiters to bring out the side dish so be sure to ask for it when you order. –You also have to ask for the special sauce that would normally come with an order of Bun Mang Ga.
