I have be a patient of Dr. Tran for the good part of the last 16 years. All I can say is that Dr. Tran and his assistant, Chin, treats me and all their patients like family. Dr. Tran is a kind and very competent doctor. He displays genuine concern for the lives of his patients and has always been forthright with his intentions and expectations with regard to my treatment. I will continue to seek Dr. Tran and Chin for my optical needs as they do have the human touch.

Extremely rude«doctor.» He refused to answer any of the questions I asked, even though I only asked one. I visited him today because of my eye problems, even though I go to another office for my Orthok lens. I visited him for another professional opinion. However, my not visiting him in three years seemed to bother him more than my actual eye issue. The first conversation in his office: «[me talking about my issue]» Him: «Okay but you haven’t been here in three years so I don’t want to treat you. Normally I wouldn’t treat patients who don’t regularly visit me.(Continues NOT addressing my eye problems, and implying that I’m lucky he’s even seeing me today even though I haven’t seen him regularly)» He continues to put a yellow eye drop onto my eye, and since I don’t know what the eye drop is, I ask him. Me: «What’s that?» Him: «I can’t treat you if you ask questions.» Me: «what is that?» Him: «It’s an eye drop.(Doesn’t specify on what the eye drop does, just that it’s an eye drop)» As he’s looking into my eye with some kind of device I’ve never seen before in my life, I, a PATIENT, ask him what he’s about to do with my eye. God forbid I know what’s going on half a centimeter in front of my naked eye. Him: «you keep asking ‘what’s that’ and I can’t treat you if you keep asking so many questions.» 10 minutes later, and he doesn’t show any sign of regret for making a 15 year old girl cry in public. Never in my life have I ever experienced a «doctor» so unprofessional, unwilling to answer basic questions and ignorant of their patient’s feelings. As a patient we should be encouraged to be kept on track of what is being done to our own body, but this doctor clearly doesn’t agree.

I received my new pair of glasses(in which I had to wait over 3 weeks for) about a week ago. From the start I told Dr. Tran that they’re blurry but he told me to wear them for about a month until I get used to it. I just couldn’t stand them anymore because they would give me headaches, and worsened my vision while driving. I told them(Dr. Tran and his two partners) that the glasses were blurry and would cause headaches, they didn’t hesitate at all to laugh at my face, shake their head and say«that’s crazy!» First of all, I wouldn’t waste my damn time going back if the glasses were fine. I have much more important things to take care of. Second of all, that was extremely rude and unprofessional of them to do that. His partner then checked my vision again and told me the glasses should be fine. After explaining to him specifically what part of my glasses bugged me he then said, «You don’t have to wear your new glasses then.» That’s it?! They put no effort in fixing my problem AND I didn’t get a refund on the glasses. That is complete and total bullshit. I’ve been coming to Dr. Tran ever since I was a kid but after this experience I am definitely finding a new optometrist! They don’t care about their patients here all they want is the money. They seem like such nice people but once you have a problem with your glasses they suddenly become useless.

Dr. Dai Le Tran has been my eye doctor ever since he opened up shop! I’ve always appreciated how patient and gentle he is. He is extremely accessible: not only does he travel between 3 locations, he’s fluent in English, Vietnamese, and Spanish!
