I bought dinner(and took it home) at this Wienerschnitzel in Rosemead, CA on 10/13/2015. It was my 1st time there. The chili dogs were good but I still miss Wienerschnitzel #17 which closed and was closer to home for me than this one. Plus, I took photos.

All I can say is that you are paying low for low quality… :(

One of the best things about Weinerschitzel is the cheap food. For just over $ 5 you can get a full combo that includes a hot dog or burger(or both), fries, and a drink. There are also daily specials like ice cream for $ 1.40 on Tuesdays. However, the place is run by an elderly Asian couple and the service can be slow when there are only two people working. The food is okay, but considering the price of the food, it is decent. I dislike the chili at Wienerschitnizel because it just seems to be the liquid from the chili and there are no beans or beef in it. As a result, I almost always stay with their foods that do not have chili. One of the major problems I have had is the fact that the lady tends not to secure the lid on the drinks. When you order just a hot dog, burger, or sandwich and a drink, she just throws everything in the bag and often, the lid on the drink is not secured. If you do not check, you could end up with a Polish Sandwich soaked in Pepsi.

Been coming here for years! I like that they actually don’t make it ’til you order it, even if it takes a bit longer. An extra 5 minutes is worth it for fresh fast food! Tip: One thing I’ve learned is that you can customize your food. Add some jalapenos to anything with chili. Makes it extremely appetizing! Grilled onions don’t hurt either.

Chili cheese dog, chili cheese burger and chili cheese fries for $ 3.99? Yeah, that’s what i paid with the coupon! It’s been years since i had a chili cheese dog and when i took the very first bite, it was amazing! Parking is okay. There’s a small lot behind it or you can just park on the streets. The food here is good but the service is not. I literally stood there for awhile until i got to order and the lady walked towards me as if she’s too tired of her freaking job and did not even smile. I guess if you are really craving for chili dogs, and there is no other Wienerschnitzel around the area, try this one out and maybe the lady will be on her«happy» side.

I sure do love chili dogs and this particular location does a great job. This is the only chain hot dog place around. That said it good by default.

Do NOT come here. By far the worst experience in my life. Raw food! And no ice cream has been served here for five months! Yet it’s advertised all over the building!

Quick take out and good tasting food. Prices are low and they always put out an add with coupons so you can save a couple of bucks on a meal.

Great place to go if you want a quick and cheap snack when you are hungry; whether if its for breakfast, lunch, or a midnight snack. There are many hotdogs to choose from as well are chili burgers and desserts. Whenever I have a craving for food with chili, I come here to get myself a Junkyard dog or Junkyard cheeseburger. It’s like having chili cheese fries and a burger or hotdog together, combined ! I love how they have really good deals and coupons that come out; like buy one and get one free… or their cheap daily deals with desserts. Service is a bit slow because there are only two people working this franchise. It’s a fast food joint so I don’t expect much of the service. OVERALL, price and food is great !

If you’re ever craving for some cheap hot dogs or corn dogs late at night, There’s always Weinerschnitzel that’s open until 12am! Of course you get what you pay for, cheap quality food at a low price. Most of the food are roughly $ 2 and under. My boyfriend was craving for corn dogs out of the blue and so we decided to drop by for a late night dinner. We ordered 2 corn dogs and a Kraut dog which came out to less than $ 5. As I was eating my hot dog, I began to have a new found appreciation for the hot dogs at Costco. The ones at Costco are so much bigger and better PLUS it comes with a fountain drink for $ 1.50! My hot dog was small and shrivel. It was no bueno! 2 stars for Wienerschnitzel because I’ve DEFINITELY had better!

We’ve frequented this Wienerschnitzel for years. The food is Wienerschnitzel-yummy and this place is consistent with the quality and food you’d find at any Der-Wienerschnitzel. Coupons are good. Service has been good over the years. Can’t beat the chili-dogs.

0 starts if I could. A few days ago I went to Wienerschnitzel to get my free birthday corn dog. The asian guy asks if I want anything else and I said no. Then he looks upset and asks to see my ID. I go to the car to get it. Then he said that the coupon says Jenn and not Jennifer. Im like Jenn is short for Jennifer!!! If i were to put my full name on everything I sign up for Id have identity theft by now! And then he looks at my ID and asks if that’s me! Like YEA!!!(but thinking give me my damn corn dog!!!) Dont go to the wienerschnitzel on Garvey in Rosemead~!!

Rude owner, nice staff. I usually drop by when I need to grab something quick to eat because there’s nothing to eat at home and I don’t want to have to wait any longer. Food is decent, it’s what you’d expect from a fast food place. Usually the workers are pretty nice and I don’t have much issues with them but the owner is just super rude. I had those free food ticket things you rip off the cups or what not so I wanted to use them. Then I hear this old lady say why are those free to a worker taking my order. She had to show her the tickets to prove that she wasn’t just giving food away. At the same time she was grunting and acting nasty to the worker, poor girl. If you ever encounter the owner, beware as she’s not the nicest person to run across, especially if you want a few more packets of ketchup. And only did I recently find out that there’s refill on the drinks, but only one. One is better than nothing, though.

I only eat at this place when I’m beyond desperate for food. I’m not going to lie that I do have cravings to eat Wienerschnitzel, but this specific branch is really… crappy… I guess that’s nice enough, even though I shouldn’t be. Let me start off by saying that not one of the attendants even care that you’re ordering. They initially acknowledge you by just nodding to you then expecting you to assume that they’re ready to take your order. They literally do not say one word to you… maybe a few grunts here and there… Then it all goes even more down hill from there. After you pay with cash or card, they start preparing your food which will take in between 15 – 30 minutes for just pre-made, not-so-fresh hot dogs with chili that’s been sitting out for hours because no one really like this place… Anyway what I’m getting at with this is they start prepping your food WITHOUTGLOVES, right after grabbing your cash along with their other customers’ cash before or after you. WTF!!! Not that it’s important but I actually work in the food industry and last I checked, it was a law/rule that you wear gloves when you handle food. Like I said, it’s a 15 – 30 minute wait and then you get to «enjoy» the food that they just leave at the window for you to grab. If all this wasn’t bad enough, they stiff you on napkins like Subway does… How the f*** are you seriously going provide a napkin for each thing you ordered damn well knowing that %99.9 of your menu has chili in it??? So all-in-all this place blows and if you really want Wienerschnitzel that bad, go anywhere but here. It’s Monterey Park/Rosemead, there’s bound to be another one less than a mile away… Or if you want gigantic chili dogs, then just go to the 7-Eleven that’s just at the corner of New Ave and Garvey… hehe
