Shenanigans is an OK liquor store for a small town that doesn’t have many options. They offer the expected basic names in beers and wines that any other standard liquor store would carry; and the wine varietals offered cover the basic red and whites. They do try to be more of a «high-end» liquor store by heavily pushing wine sales as soon as you enter, but I’m not impressed when the store owner looks at me confused if I ask about botrytized wine and workers can’t tell me what the difference in taste is between muscat wine and reisling. Yes I know what the differences are, but I like to see if a store actually is knowledgeable about wines or is just putting on airs. This place is definitely not Surdyk’s, but it suits my purposes if I just have to grab and go. If I actually have to ask questions, 100% of the time I head somewhere else as this place is not very helpful(especially if you’re a younger customer — management just tends to ignore you in favor of the stay-at home cart pushers).
