Some of the pricing can be a bit high for some folks to handle, but the butcher quality is consistent with some of the best and brightest butchers around the Twin Cities. I recently had an urgent need for a perfectly seasoned, rolled and tide tightly Porchetta for a dinner that I was cooking for some family members and stopped by Von Hanson’s to see what they could offer. Porchetta seasoning is a fine art and everyone will add a little something different to their mixture to set them a part, me included. People who cook Porchetta will also want and/or prepare their Porchetta a specific way prior to the cooking process. I prefer to dry rub the inside and outside and let sit for a period of 48 hours at minimum. I couldn’t do that, but Von Hanson’s was willing to work with me and prepare a 5.3 lb. Porchetta exactly how I would and their season mixture was outstanding. It was also rather inexpensive and would go back for additional cuts of pork shoulder/butt for my future Porchetta’s. They have fantastic beef sticks, jerkey and other cuts of meat as well and are ready to prepare anything to your specific liking.

I love all Von Hanson’s and this is no different. Great meat, great bakery … Just great food in general. Good prices. And awesome customer service. I keep coming back for more!
